Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dickson

The hotel itself was very clean and updated. However, we were there for a softball tournament and only needed it for one night, checking in at almost midnight and checking out at 8 the next morning. I was hoping we could have gotten a slight discount considering we were only there for about 8 hours, but the man at check-in wasn’t having any of that and was rude about it when I asked politely. We paid almost $200 for 8 hours for a hotel in the middle of nowhere! WAY overpriced. Dickson, TN is not a desirable location so the price was way too high in my opinion. Breakfast provided cereal, waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage patties, and yogurt.

I loved the room. Beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed, and i loved the big smart tv in the room.

There are only two things i can complain about. It was very very expensive. But i did find the hotels site said it had a “spa” and 24 hour fitness center and pool. I found these things were not true. There is no spa and they seem to close the pool at 10 so after i got off work it was too late for me to use it which was the only disappointing part of my stay. I was also told one rate on the phone, but was charged another so I will need to call..

Breakfast was very good. The cleanliness was excellent. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful.

The mattress on one of the queen beds had definitely seen better days. It was an uncomfortable night.

Love the bed, very good nights sleep, nice living room, well appointed. Bathroom not well planned out. Faucet too low in sink, kept hitting it, toilet paper roll poor placement. Kayla at front desk was very nice, helped w/ dinner plans.

Road Trip!!!!

The front desk did not find my reservation because my first name was not in the right place on the computer. We found this out after being told my reservation was not in the computer and I needed to contact Booking.com. Frustrating when i could not get a phone number to contact them. He eventually found my reservation after serving two other guests while I was frantically trying to find a way to contact Booking.com. I think he could have tried harder to find my reservation.

Location was perfect. Both getting to the location and finding dining places.

Check the card that is used to hold the reservation and the card that is given when checking in. I used a different card to check in so my charges would go to that card and not the card to hold the reservation.

Front desk staff (special kudos to Kaylor). Never have I been made feel so welcome! What a cozy place to stay. Great location. Handy to great restaurants!

The gentleman who checked me in was so nice. He got us in quickly and was very welcoming. And he gave me a cookie! After a long day of traveling, something as simple as a cookie and tea, makes things nicer. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was so nice! I slept well and our stay was very nice.
