Quality Inn Monteagle TN

Very affordable. Great value for the money. Nicely renovated and clean guest room with fresh linen and pillows. Super friendly staff. The hot breakfast was very good, all the usual and tasty items: eggs, cheese, sausage links, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, coffee. Only no bananas—as I recall. Macdonald’s across the parking lot, and connected to a service station, Sonic is a stone’s throw away, and Waffle House is on the other side of the highway, also Subway and Hardee’s.

There is no shower wall-mounted shampoo/conditioner/body soap dispenser, just the one-ounce size, so bring your own. The scenery is average, but doesn’t matter if it’s a one-night travel stop-over. It’s a budget hotel, so no elevators to the second floor. But that’s informational, not a complaint. We enjoyed the stay and WILL stop at the midway point on my return.

The location is great for those planning to visit The Caverns. This hotel was also very clean and much more updated when compared to other hotels in the same area.

We could hear the neighbors very clearly, which made it a bit hard to fall asleep. We were also placed in a room on the first floor near a side door. Guests did not take care to keep that door from slamming so we were woken up early from constant slamming.

The pool was nice and the gas station and store across the street was a plus.

It would have been nice to. Have a shuttle to the caverns for the shows . Most of the people who were staying at the hotel were there for a show at the caverns. The advertised Ubers were ridiculously priced at 65.00 pp one way to be driven 9 miles .

The rooms were the cleanest ever. We had been on a 9 day trip through Blue Ridge Pkwy and then over to Myrtle Beach then back through Gatlinburg and over to Chattanooga. Our last and best stay was at Quality Inn Monteagle Mountain.

The one shower we took had little or no hot water. We also left a pair of prescription glasses that were of great need. They were expensive ray ban brand. We know exactly where we left them, however the maid and or front desk never recovered them. I also tipped the maid in her envelope $10. I am praying that the glasses show up as my significant other really needs them. I would be happy to pay to have them overnighted to us. I wish all Quality Inns were like this one as I would never stay at another hotel again.

Check-in was quick, front desk people friendly, the room was comfortable.

The room, especially the bathroom, could have been cleaner. And there was a strong swell of chlorine. The carpet felt humid under our feet. We could not use the swimming pool as it was too cold and dirty.

The location was great with a liquor shop out front and a service station that was 24 hours next door.. Staff were friendly and helpful

The only thing I can suggest is getting some exhaust fans in the bathrooms as there’s no ventilation and it creates a very stuffy atmosphere in the entire room after showers

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was exceptionally clean! The breakfast was also great! I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and for the price, I was a little concerned that the room wouldn’t be clean, or I wouldn’t feel safe there. I felt safe and the room and hotel were spotless!

I only payed $83 for my day and got an amazing room with a kitchenette, full bathroom, king bed, and tons of space. Everything was extremely clean and I felt extremely safe. It’s been very nerve racking traveling alone but this place put me at ease and let me get a great nights sleep. The bed was insanely comfy!! And the staff- my goodness I could write pages upon pages about how wonderful the staff was . The lovely lady who helped me check-in spent 20 minutes chatting with me and giving me some traveling tips and advice. Everything was so clean, comfortable, and wonderful!

Genuinely, I have no complaints.

The staff was amazing! So polite, kind & helpful! If we needed assistance, they were there, with a smile on their face. We were staying as a mini-escape. Due to it being during the week & room availability, we were given a choice as to room location & allowed space that was not so congested… it was quiet & peaceful. The location was perfect & easy to get to, directly off the interstate The room was clean & amenities available. My daughter was exited they had a waffle station for breakfast.

I enjoyed the pool - easy access to hotel. Breakfast looked great! Eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, juice, coffee!

I am glad the room and hallway carpets were being cleaned as it's a necessary thing. The carpet in our room was wet so we had to be careful when stepping onto the bathroom floor with wet shoes.
