The Smoke House Lodge

No carpeting. Floors were very clean.

No elevator. No stairs close to our room. I am asthmatic with COPD. Everything else was perfect. Room was very clean. One cup coffee pot. Bed was comfortable. We got a great sleep. Bathroom was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful pool out back. Restaurants n bars all around. We will definetly rebook. Price was under 65.00 with my hubbys military discount. They have cabins here. The views r beautiful. Thank u very much.

Loved the reasonable prices, the rustic feel to the place and in looking thru the book you had in the room, it looks like there is alot to do around you and the driving distance is reasonable. It's a beautiful place.

Not able to get something to eat. Everything around the Lodge seemed to be closed and the place behind you, only open on the weekends. Other than that, I loved the place.

I liked the comfort of the cabin. The hot tub/jacuzzi that is tucked away in the corner is a great addition, it made for a nice romantic bath with my beautiful wife. The bed was comfortable and a really nice size. The water worked great, it got hot quickly. The couch was also comfortable. If I had known about the fireplace, I would have purchase some fire logs to utilize it (next time)

If I had to be picky, I’d say that the bed sheets and blankets could have been more comfortable, they felt a tad bit scratchy. The heating unit would also occasionally turn cold even when we had it on heat and up at 80°

I stayed in a one room cabin this time for one night. I enjoyed my little get a way very much. It was so cozy and just what I needed. The jacuzzi and fireplace were great and I felt safe. The couch was worn so I didn’t use it, but the bed was very comfortable. The location is near a grocery store and several fast food restaurants, a Dollar General, & a couple of unique gift shops. It’s a quick drive from Nashville but feels like I’m far away. These cabins are my go to for a mental break.

The restaurant burned down since the last time I was here. So disappointed because the food was excellent and plentiful. Hope that it will be reopened next time I'm here. Fortunately, there are several family -owned and chain restaurants nearby. The room isn't fancy but it's comfortable clean and convenient. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful that it's a joy visiting with them. They gave me some great ideas for things to do when I bring my wife back later this year, And the views from the back patios are relaxing,

old school motel. we always stay here anytime we are in the area. staff is always friendly. room is clean. just don’t expect a lot of bells and whistles it’s not that kind of a place. it’s just a nice place to stay.

This was my second stay and you cannot beat the price for this place! Rooms are a decent size, bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. The staff was friendly when I arrived and when I checked out. Awesome little lodge with a great location for check out the surrounding area.

My only issue is that my room didn't have a desk. I travel for work a lot and typically set up shop at the desk to do work. Maybe make it known for those traveling for work that you don't have desks or if there are rooms that do, offer those first? That's about it.

We love the cabins, the pool, the restaurant and live music . And we love TN. Oh, and the tricycle track is the best extra at a hotel ever!!! Who ever came up with that, Give them a high 5 for me! I have been coming to the smoke house for 40 years, now I bring my kids. Thank you for keeping it going. We made countless priceless memories here when I was little and we had family reunions here. Now my kids get the same memories. Thank you.

The room was clean. You could tell the shower had some stains, but still clean. Beds were comfortable enough. It was a great value for what was paid.

There was an associate sitting behind the check-in desk that was a little snobby. I asked where the restaurant was and one of the ladies started to give us directions. She was cut off mid sentence by the other associate saying, “They close in 20 minutes.” This would have been a completely acceptable response had it not been accompanied with such a snarky tone. It was obviously necessary information, but the presentation was rude. Other than that, everyone was very friendly and pleasant.

Booked a room for one night with two queen beds and it was a smokers room. It was inexpensive, clean, comfy and close to the concert that we were attending. The lobby was clean and they had a nice fireplace, which was my favorites thing about the whole place! They have a cute restaurant and the food is good. It’s walking distance from a grocery store, convenient stores, fast food places and this awesome little shop called The Amish Hippie. if I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely book here!

There was only one issue that we ran into and that was our toilet stopped working. Besides that everything was good!
