Comfort Suites Murfreesboro

We always book the top floor away from elevators and drink machines. It was refreshing to check in and find that Comfort Suites had honored our request. We were in Murfreesboro during multi-sport state tournament, so we expected the area to be busy. The parking lot was full, but the hotel never seemed busy, which was also nice. We had baseball players next to us who were rowdy, but the front desk was quick to call their coach and they were immediately quiet. The breakfast was good and the location was great!

The bathrooms could use updating. Our shower had years of use evident on the floor.

Clean, nice spacious room with twin Queen beds. Two-seater plus desk/chair for seating. Nice bath with good water pressure/shower head. Typical continental breakfast with COVID restrictions on hot food. Very helpful staff, quiet. Great value compared to others in the neighborhood for a quiet rest.

The toilet was a “turbo flush” model - but noisy and a surprise when first “fired”. Middle-of-night/early AM users be advised! The entrance off the street can be a bit tricky for a tired driver on first approach. Overall really minor and we’d definitely stay here again!

Great value for the money. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. For the price, it was much better than I expected.

The bathroom needs an update, I think. The tub was discolored and cracked in places. There were also some hairs on the bedding when I arrived. But given how cheap the room was, it didn’t bother me overmuch.

The hot breakfast was nice. The room was very quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was a nice room with a good price.

Cleanliness was lacking in some respects- my tub had mold growing in several places which I asked the maid to clean, and she did. The elevator had spills and stains on the floor that were there 3/4 days I was there. I reported several large coffee spills in the main hallway to the front desk. 30 minutes later after I finished my breakfast, they were still there- no hurry to clean up a potential hazard. The reconstituted scrambled eggs were very watery and I always had a puddle of water on my plate afterwards- the eggs tasted good, however. I did not like the maids banging on the doors and shouting House Cleaning at 8:30 am. Very disturbing. And they tried to enter even when I had the do not disturb sign up. Luckily I had the door bolted.

Breakfast was good. Clean hotel. Not too much noise. Comfortable room.

It would have been much better if I hadn't been charged a 150 dollar hold on my card twice, voided once and have $150 frozen/pending transaction in my account/not being able to have it reversed by hotel staff for days, having to wait until it clears. Caused me to have an overdraft, and fee in my checking account by my bank

My room was nice and comfortable.

Breakfast. They were serving cold sandwiches that had to be put in the microwave. I paid a total of $130.00 for a one night stay. The website said free hot breakfast. The website needs to be updated to say that due to COVID they are not serving hot breakfast at this time. My uncle stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham and only paid $118 and received at hot breakfast. I was very disappointed. I understand about them trying to keep everyone safe but to get a sandwich to put in the microwave was very distasteful.

way better than the doubletree especially with customer service ! All the people we came in contact with from check in, housekeeping and the breakfast worker was the best customer service we have had in the past 3 hotels we stayed at .. from day to day we didn’t know if we were gonna have to stay since I had a family member that had to be admitted to the hospital! So words of wisdom “ Be kind to everyone because you d in t know what kind of dah they have had unless they tell you “ I am forever thankful for the best stay in Murfreesboro we will be back!!!

Everything was quite nice except for the fact we were never told we wouldn’t have any housekeeping for our room while we stayed for 2 nights. Quite surprised to return to our room on our second day and found bed unmade, no clean towels, nor the room cleaned up in general. Never have stayed in a hotel that daily housekeeping wasn’t included. Very disappointed in this issue at the hotel.

The room was so clean! The price point was the better option of the other places we usually stay, and I'm so happy we found another hotel to stay for future travel. Every employee I encountered was the nicest, friendliest person and they were so helpful. I will definitely be staying again!

Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. The only suggestion I have is to bring back vending snack machines, but most places I've recently stayed does not have them.

Everything was great! The size of the room and the quality of the breakfast were both above expectations. The strawberry waffles were a really nice surprise - we've never seen that at a hotel before!

The only think I didn't like was that the WiFi instructions were not provided at check-in. We didn't try to figure out how to log in because we really didn't need it, but it wouldn't been nice to have it just in case.
