Aloft Austin Airport

Everything was perfect, save that the complimentary water bottle had been opened and drunk from. Apparently, the maid didn’t notice it. It wasn’t a big deal. I just went downstairs and asked for another one. Also, I’d prefer wrapped plastic glasses in the room rather than unwrapped, unsealed real glass ones. While I’m not saying it happens at the Aloft, I remember my days in the hotel industry when the maids would often just empty out the glasses and wipe them off before returning them to service.

We had a very early morning flight, so we didn't have breakfast, but we did have dinner at the bar and the bartender was excellent! Very friendly and attentive. I did check in online and that made the check-in process very easy as well. The front desk staff during the whole stay was very friendly too. The room was clean and comfortable and the shuttle was quick to the airport, which we appreciated.

We had some problems getting the A/C to cool the room down, but I think that was operator error. The A/C worked, we just couldn't figure out what was the best temperature for us.

Even though I had a do no disturb sign on my door, the cleaning staff was loudly laughing and talking in front of my room. I have a feeling that it was because management couldn't see them because I my room (344) was in a small corridor that bends to the right from the elevators. So much for trying to sleep past 8!

We really enjoyed our club sandwiches and then our breakfast the next morning. We found the property very modern and appealing. The staff seemed very happy. All smiling. Very pleasant.

We were on the ground floor and there was a lot of road noise, especially for a Saturday morning. Otherwise everything was very comfortable. The bar hours are very short. We got back from our engagement at around 11:15 and it was already closed. It might have been nice to wind down with a nightcap.

It is pet friendly and that’s what we were looking for and it was pretty clean just needs a little more attention in the shower

The checkout it’s at 12:00 but when they were cleaning the other rooms they were so noisy since 9;00 and woke us up

it was a very modern hotel, i didn't get to enjoy all features due to covid, but I will definitely book again for future dates so long as the rates don't sky rocket.

there is no ventilation/circulation in the restroom and the door only slides open between the sink and toilet, which are both at the entrance next to the minifridge. the bed is on the other side of the wall but if the bathroom stinks and the door is open you can clearly smell it all the way into the rest of the room. if there was a way to get the air to circulate it would most likely not be an issue having the door open but this wasn't a deal breaker during my stay. just a thought

Very friendly desk staff. Pool was very clean. Room was clean and very spacious. Queen beds very comfortable. TV screen was really quite large! Plenty of electric plugs. Air conditioning worked well and was comfortable. Just an overnight stay so not much else to say.

It was a little difficult to get to the property from the highway.

The location was in driving distance to the places we wanted to visit and close to the airport and offered shuttle service. The staff was nice and the property was clean and safe.

quick stay overnight for early morning flight. the shuttle was super convenient and runs every 30 min . the bar was open and we were able to grab a small bite for dinner flatbread and sandwich so we didn’t have to leave the property.

easy access from the highway and close to the center of downtown. The faculty and facilities are awesome, such a fun relaxing environment.

Would’ve like a microwave in the room, though they did provide one in the common space in the lobby. It’s when you’re hammered and wanna heat up your left overs, but don’t really wanna go down an elevator lol.
