La Quinta by Wyndham Austin Airport

Room was very clean. Staff was very helpful, When I had difficulty starting the washer to clean my clothes, the girl at the front desk was diligent to make sure I understood how it worked. I loved the outdoor pool. Room was quiet overnight. When i went to the front desk in the middle of the night for aspirin, they didn't sell any, the the man at the front desk offered me a couple.

I noticed shuttle vans in front of the main entrance, but they were not in service. Room was not cleaned everyday. I realize hotels are not giving daily room cleaning, but still.......... Breakfast offered hot food, waffles, but the buffet never changed-scrambled eggs and potato wedges-. For the prices I was paying, i felt breakfast could have had more variation from day to day. The convenience store in the hotel, didn't offer much besides food. Would have like to see bathroom items or over the counter medication

Our room was a lot bigger than we were expecting which was amazing! The bed was just the perfect amount of softness and firmness. The pillows though... fell flat pretty easily but overall a great experience. And if you can make time to go to the pool, also worth it! Lastly the Hispanic woman who worked the night shift at the front desk was an absolute dream! She offered to speak to us in Spanish if we didn't feel comfortable speaking English, she answered all of our questions and always had a smile for us. My husband and I agree that her kindness and attitude made us feel so welcomed.

Like I mentioned earlier probably the pillows. I would wake up at night and my head was practically flat on the bed. But this is more of a personal preference.

Decent clean room. Only interaction with staff was front desk, which was fine.

Breakfast was a major disappointment. Website indicates breakfast is included, but I don’t consider that breakfast. My first morning, all that came out of orange juice dispenser was water, and both coffee jugs were empty. Part of my criteria when searching for a room was for breakfast to be included. Consequently, I feel the room was overpriced. *edit - website states “continental breakfast “. Actual offering was granola bars, cheap cellophane wrapped wet muffins and snack pack peach sauce, juice and coffee.

clean room, comfortable bed, no odd smells, great location.

I went down at 8:30 for breakfast and there wasn't any eggs, just breads and stuff. So I went and found some breakfast tacos in town. Not a big deal, the tacos were really good. Oh, and the AC doesn't have a constant running fan. I thought that was a bummer. It kept waking me up when it turned on and then off. And it was only off for a minute or so. Really broke up my sleep.

I stayed at a La Quinta in San Antonio and enjoyed my stay. They had a friendly staff, good hot breakfast and plenty to drink. But La Quinta Austin Airport, the staff was not very nice when I was checking in In the morning I enquired about the hot sandwiches to go she said "we don't have them, this is all we have" The Coffee was empty, small packaged muffins and fruit bars. Not impressed While checking out, the front desk person was yawning. Disappointed in my stay.

This hotel was okay. Not the best La Quinta hotel, but not the worst. The good: A great location with a gas station, restaurants and starbucks nearby Nice staff very accommodating and sweet to me A big pool outside Good ac Big room Big closet A nice bed Good elevator Fridge and microwave Free parking Allows cats Lots of drawers for storage A recliner chair

The bad: Not enough luggage carts didn't get to use one at all The door to my room wouldn't open easily made it hard to get into room Weird smell in bathroom The bathroom sometimes made a weird noise randomly The comforter/sheets was small and had to go down the bed to be able have it over my whole body The lights were mostly set up from one light by the door which was annoying if you wanted one still on but not all Only get 3 pillows on the bed

The room was very spacious. I was shocked at the size of it. The bathroom, too. The AC was amazing in hot Texas weather. I was actually cold at night! I was also pleasantly surprised that we had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The bed was comfy, it was clean. Nice desk and chair as well as a recliner. Way more than we expected.

The breakfast.

The location was great & the room was was perfectly clean. I enjoyed the floor plan of the room mostly. Plus the window actually opened! My dog enjoyed this mostly. :)

The hours of the pool were inconvenient as it didn't open until 4:00 pm & closed at 9:00 pm. Also, the guest laundry service area needs improvement as the dryer did not work after I authorized my card which was my only option.

The location was perfect, the hotel was clean and had a great aesthetic. Staff was friendly and prompt, parking was safe and well lit.

The bedding/pillows were not the most comfortable - starchy sheets and only 3 small/flat pillows on a king size bed. Also, the pool area was nice, but a hot tub would have been a great bonus.

Always had clean linen and room. The view of Austin from our room was beautiful and stay close to the airport, it’s was so quiet.

Breakfast couldn’t been more variety……Head of the bed was to low when lying down…..but other than that everything else was wonderful… need more surroundings restaurants……...will stay again……
