Aloft Austin Downtown

I loved the location and the staff was very helpful. My boyfriend and I went for our Anniversary and they made sure we got an amazing view and even gave us complimentary food and beverage! We personally loved the Valet even though it was $50, but for us it was super convenient.

The sink to our restroom was broken and also seemed as if our restroom wasn't fully cleaned. There also was terrible stains in the carpet and not only just one. When we first got to our room it felt amazing, but when it was time to go to bed it was hot!

It is really a cool and positive vibe in the hotel. The room is not that spacious but has everything you need. the view from the 25th floor is amazing. the location of the hotel itself is a plus. you are a walking distance from all attractions. The Personnel are really friendly and helpful. Having Caroline (the Coffee House and Restaurant) is great. having happy hour at 5 in the afternoon packed with people just laughing having fun its a totally different vibe. I would come back to this hotel definitely.

Location is fantastic. We liked the view too. We liked the choice of having a simple coffee and croissant for breakfast, instead of seated breakfast. The restaurant was nice too and reasonably priced. The facility was super clean.

I was surprised to enter the building and not see a lobby (it's on the 2nd floor). The mattress is great, and I know that sheets is an American thing, but can't we be world class and have a duvet with duvet cover? Sheets are awful. Also I sleep on my tummy and there is not a single pillow thin enough for me to use (but that's in every hotel sadly). A towel bar definitely would be nice

The food in Caroline’s and Upstairs at Caroline’s was very good. Elevators were always available, especially considering there are around 32 floors. Everyone was courteous and helpful. This facility is in an excellent location for walking to most districts/neighborhoods.

Took way too long to get hot water to the lavatory faucet and shower. We turned the shower on for 4-5 minutes before we could get in. If I shaved at the bathroom lavatory I left the water on for 5-6 before it became slightly warm.I usually had to shave with cold water. This is a huge waste of water. We were in room 1204 in Aloft.

Very clean, the cleaning staff did a phenomenal job. I always had fresh towels and sheets. Pillows were soft and the room was spacious.

Although I love the fact that there was a smart tv in the room, it was VERY laggy and kept freezing. Like the show would run fine but trying to select a show, pause, or anything else was difficult.

Really cool and comfortable hotel in an amazing location in downtown Austin. beds were comfortable, rooms were nice and the bar and restaurant in the hotel were awesome. the only issues we had were minor, but if rectified would have made for a perfect stay!

the bathroom doors are badly designed- the one in our first room was impossible to move and other guests in our group also had issues with theirs. the hotel was accomodating and rectified the situation though. also the elevators took way too long, sometimes it would be a few minutes wait- and they really need a service elevator. multiple times the lift would be full, and it would stop at multiple floors with housekeeping staff with a cart waiting. frustrating for the staff and guests.

Great Hotel, the staff was super friendly and nice. The location was great but keep in mind that it is noisy outside and it can be heard in the room so if you are a light sleeper this might not be the best for you. The breakfast wasn't included so cannot rate that however there is a great restaurant in the hotel with a bar in the 2nd floor.

All was great other than the noise from outside

The housekeeping staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. There was ample storage for us to hang our belongings and plenty of space for all four of us to get ready together. Beds were comfortable, room was quiet, and we loved the downstairs cafe.

The door to our bathroom needs repair. It kept coming off the hinges. Also the showers flood out into the bathroom.

Clean, great location, friendly team - rooms were spacious & clean. It’s part of the Marriott properties. Water pressure on the shower was not the greatest. Sink in the bathroom is a little awkward cause it splashes all over everything. Nice city view. Bed was comfortable. Good location to be able to walk to 6th street, the Capital or even the stadium. Prices are a bit hefty but they’re in line with the other nearby hotels.

the breakfast was awful! coffee and smoothies were good though also is it so much to restock the water bottles in your room each day? you get complimentary water on day one but not for each day of your stay, you have to buy them after that. I just think it would be a nice touch to give them each day, if I booked the room for one day at a time they would be there.
