Baymont by Wyndham College Station

I did like the smell of the room, the cleanliness was perfect. The air conditioner helped cool the room. Perfect location to both softball complexes that we had to attend. The Breakfast was great as always.

My room didnt have a microwave. It was extremely hot in our room prior to arriving so we had to turn a/c on and leave room until it cooled down. It also didnt have a clock which i thought was weird. Thankfully we had our phones to tell time.

Very clean we were in room 228, deluxe queen with 2 queen beds, microwave and refrigerator. The refrigerator was more like a mini freezer. We had left over milk and food and the next morning they were all frozen solid. The refrigerator is In need of repair as it had ice forming in the back. The room is huge....

The refrigerator in our room is in need of repair. It foze all our items and had no settings to adjust the temperature.

I did not partake of the breakfast that was offered at the hotel due to time constraints. However, Alexis (?), the front desk lady, was super helpful whenever she was on duty. She even offered me her personal phone charger plug so that I could charge my watch which used the same type of plug. She also came and replaced my non-working refrigerator as soon as I called about it. She was awesome!

The cleaning people, even when asked, often did not show up to clean my room. Again, when Alexis stayed on top of them, it was done. If she was not there, it did not get done.

The hotel is nice but what really sets it apart is the staff which went above and beyond during our stay. Our shower head was not working properly and the manager went out and got a new one and replaced it for us the next day and offered us a late check out since we had to wait in the morning to shower until after the head was replaced. The breakfast was quite nice for a free breakfast with hot and cold options. The beds were quite comfortable, everything was clean and it was close to the interstate and about 15 minutes from Texas A&M.

Manager and her team were extremely nice. She gave us great options for food places and was very honesty about the possibility of extra noise and extra kids staying at the property due to a big track meet that was in town. She asks us which floor we preferred to stay on and was very accommodating. We were in town for the track meet and the kids there were very nice and didn’t cause any problems. She even let some of the dads gather in the front lobby to watch the football game on the big tv which was very nice. My child even left one of her air pods in the room which housekeeping turned in. Manager(Alexis) offered to mail it back. I will always choose this property when visiting College Station.

No complaints

The staff were phenomenal! Extremely accommodating! We asked for two rooms close together and were told one thing over the phone (Wyndham hotline maybe?) and when we arrived, that wasn't the case. When we politely brought up the difference at the front desk, the manager came out and corrected the issue without hesitation. Then the next morning at breakfast, the same manager was working the breakfast bar and asking if anyone needed anything and refilled the bar very quickly, as needed. She deserves a raise and we will definitely be back for all our future trips to College Station because of her. This was not a gameday weekend so I can't speak to the pricing during that time, but we had a very affordable price for the amenities.

They ran out of a few things rather quickly at breakfast, but like I said, the staff were right on it to replace items as needed so I can't really claim that as a "con." The only hiccup at check-in was that our rooms weren't close enough together as the Wyndham booking hotline indicated they would be. The manager overheard our issue and fixed it immediately and cordially. I could see this being an issue if the hotel were fully booked (like it would be on a game weekend.) That's no fault of the local staff, I feel like that's an issue with the corporate booking hotline. Overall a great experience and we will definitely recommend Baymont College Station to friends and family.

The room was clean.

There were too many people hanging outside. The staff did not greet as you come in I guess because they all we’re eating lunch together. When I came back because I checked in early but would only give me my keys when we returned, they did not make not and the guy did not want to give me my keys he said he would have to contact the registered person of the room. THAT WAS ME!!!!

the bed was the most comfortable ive ever slept in; tv channels were great; room was clean; staff was friendly; the property is peaceful

ice machine on 2nd floor broken; snack machine wouldnt take $ bills; some food items were expired at the breakfast buffet; the ac was blasting cold on the 2nd floor when there was a freeze advisory outside which wasnt very comfortable

All of the staff was amazing. Very helfpul and considerate. Had to stay for 3 weeks until I move in to my new apt and I was very happy the whole time.

The AC kept smelling bad, making the whole room smell not as clean.

The rooms are very clean. My only wish is that it had a microwave. Also the breakfast bar is good, however at 9am we had to ask for coffee to be made . They had the coffee bar in the lobby, but no coffee, sugar, cream or cups until we asked...

No coffee in the lobby although they had a coffee bar, there was none made until we asked...
