Holiday Inn & Suites College Station-Aggieland, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was nice but the staff was the best part of the stay. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The Bartender was great he was a cross between a hypeman and a old friend. The cook was a real crack up. She was funny and friendly. The whole stay was greatly improved by the staff alone. They hired quality people who were friendly and enjoyable.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable enough. There were plenty of pillows of varying degrees of firmness. Had my stay been longer, the mini-fridge would have come in handy.

It was only a one night stay; so, I had limited exposure. I did not have my square/plug and only found one usb port that was broken. Thus, I was unable to charge my phone. The bathroom counterspace was limited, and the shower was a hand-held showerhead that did not hang high enough to stand under the water. It was pretty useless for more than rinsing off. Had my stay been longer, I would have asked for remedies for the usb port and showerhead. Assuming the shower situation was fixable, I would stay there again and recommend the hotel.

Location was good for visiting Santa's Wonderland. Also close to the hospitals, which we ended up needing. There was a man who worked the desk the night we checked in, I'm thinking his name was Chad or Cory. He was excellent and a lot of help. He was able to move our room from the far end away from the elevators, to closer to the elevator after we had already checked in, because my husband broke his leg. He offered us help and made sure we got to the new room ok. Very pleasant guy. So was the person I talked to later that night, asking to add a day to my stay, because my husband had to get surgery, and we were from out of town.

Couldn't figure out how we were supposed to do breakfast. Also, I tried calling the number booking.com had on my reservation email while at the ER, to move our room. The female I connected to was unable to find our name or reservation information at all. It had to wait until we got back to the hotel, and I talked to the helpful guy on the front desk. If they had a wheelchair on standby for guests...that would have been awesome!

Entrance and exit were easy and parking was close. Whirlpool was kept in good condition, room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were nice and welcoming!

Whirlpool button didn’t work to start the jacuzzi. Blue stain on the carpet by the door, remote for tv didn’t fully work.

I stayed in one of the suites and it was AMAZING!! The bed was so comfy. The pool was amazing. The staff was helpful and even other people I ran into at the pool that were staying there were so so nice and kind and caring.

I brought my Apple TV stick with me so I could put on a Disney show for my 1 year old nephew I had with me but I could use it cause the wifi long on wouldn’t let me click the “I accept” button for whatever reason. I did not like that.

It was affordable and the hotel is definitely one of the nicer ones in the area. Cleanliness and comfort are on top of the priority list. The shower ran hot and efficiently with no issues. And the air conditioning unit also ran efficiently keeping our room nice and cool. I was glad to see everything was maintained well in the building.

Perfect location for BCS Marathon. Excellent value. They allowed me an extra hour late checkout so I could shower after marathon. Would stay there again. 👍

Only disappointment was that we thought there would be an all day restaurant. Only served breakfast.

The Jacuzzi was really nice. The room was nice and cold. I like how we were able to control the temperature. I really appreciate the associate that helped us late at night to pick a place to eat. I will definitely be back.

I honestly was worried about the slipperiness of the jacuzzi tub. I wasn't a fan of the shower/bathtub either. I feel like it should have just been a stand alone shower.

It was good.

I didn't like that the hotel held 25.00 on a card even though they had already been paid. They said it was because we used a third parry to book.

Several USB plugs in room didn’t work. No TV channel guide in room.
