Hyatt Place College Station

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The bar being conveniently open till midnight in the lobby was a fantastic plus when traveling with toddlers 🤣 and the bartender was fantastic and so friendly. The concierge gave us a coupon for a complimentary drink upon check-in as well, and for the kids they even had a build your own hot cocoa station which they loved!!!! The pool was perfectly heated and the hot tub was great! I think this is the first hotel we’ve stayed at in college station where the pool was actually heated and the hot tub worked! Additionally the room we stayed in was perfect! It had ample room for family game night, including twister, as well as room for eating or just sitting and visiting. All in all our stay was perfect. We make this trip every year and we are definitely going to make this our go to hotel for the trip!

Room was quiet, ample space, clean. Flat screen Tv was the latest LG model. Breakfast was served at 6:30 am sharp and was tasty. Staff treated us cordially and was responsive to our needs. The King sized beds are comfortable. We slept peacefully.

The air conditioner was a little noisy sometimes but kept our room cool .

I liked the overall experience. The customer service we received was exceptional. My mother dropped her earring down the sink and they got a plumber to open the drain and get it out! I was shocked that they went above and beyond to do that! I will most definitely recommend this location to anyone staying in this area. Will most definitely return for a future stay.

No place to sit outside

The staff was fantastic! Loved the convenience of the little bar and it gives you an opportunity to chat with other people and the staff a little.

Everything was top notch except the pool was too cold for my son to enjoy swimming and the hot tub was closed.

Property was very clean and well kept. The location was excellent!

The bathroom configuration in our room was less then acceptable. in order to walk I and close the door, you needed to literally wedge yourself by the toilet.

Not bad under Tough c19 conditions - but running out with knowledge your place is booked with families / kids was a huge miss

Reserved 2 rooms; king and double bed weeks ago. The front desk guy noted on card jacket which key had double beds - no double beds in either room. Went back down to ask - told by another lady they didn’t have anymore. That I could use the sofa bed. We had 3 separate families; 4 adults and 4 kids. It worked but very uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on sofa bed for 2 nights. P

The hot breakfast served was very good and an an assortment of options were offered. We were in town to visit TAMU and the location of the hotel suited our purpose perfectly.

The $75 non refundable pet deposit was a bit much. I can see charging a deposit, but a "deposit" is usually refunded upon check out if there were no damages or additional cleaning needed upon checkout.

Nice breakfast, quite limited but good quality Close to Texas A&M University and city center Close to the main roads and easy to leave for Houston, Austin or Dallas
