Scottish Inns - Cresson

The Scottish Inns has a cozy atmosphere, spacious rooms, and friendly, helpful staff. It was close to the event I had come to Granbury for which was my main reason for booking.

There were a couple small things in the room that were in disrepair but nothing serious. My only real issue was with the kitchen in the unit. It seems odd to have an oven, sink, and stove in the room but no cookware, cutlery, or dishes. People don't usually travel with these things especially by air so they can't make use of the kitchen.

Great comfortable stopover at a decent price for value. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast ok with some fruit and gluten-free cheerios, but not the yogurt (with modified starch). Coffee was good and our room was away from the highway so quiet and provided good sleep. Fridge and microwave good. Staff were friendly.

Was fine. I little slippery in the tub. No functioning pool at this time.

Exceptionally clean, friendly staff (especially the Pooch Check In staff members!). The entire hotel was exceptionally clean...the room was spacious and immaculate, bed very comfortable. And it was very, very quiet...best sleep I've had at a hotel in awhile. I highly, highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a nice stay in the Cresson area!

Well, if I HAD to choose something I'd say add a few hot options to the breakfast (which was good, especially the Texas shaped waffles). Maybe some egg/cheese sandwich or something? The local area is a little sparse on food options!

Location to the racetrack (MSR-C) is perfect, right across the street. The hotel is very clean and quiet, a lovely night's sleep.

Maybe switch up the continental breakfast options with more hot food? (eggs, hash browns, etc)? But I have to admit, you can't beat waffles!

The room was insanely good for how low the cost was. I had a whole oven (I didn't use it, but I have never stayed at a hotel with an oven in my room)

I liked everything. The lighting was a bit dim (only lamps in most of the room) but I had a great stay overall and the lighting comment is really reaching far for a complaint. Overall I would rate my stay a 9.5 out of 10

Super helpful owner and staff. Also, the dogs were absolutely amazing. Would visit JJ anyday.

I’d love to see some protein, meat or eggs at breakfast.

Location is great, 3 minutes from both my daughter and son who live in Cresson. This was our second stay at Scottish Inns and this time we traveled with a newborn. The room was large enough to accommodate his pack and play, stroller, and 4 adults. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. This is now our "go to" place to stay when we go see family in Cresson and Fort Worth.

I love that they are pet friendly. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was simple. Check out time was 11 so I was able to get some extra rest

The rooms were large and the breakfast was good. The dogs at the front desk were absolutely our favorite part. We will definitely be back.
