Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Worth Southwest at Cityview

The Hotel is located inside a shopping mall, in the back of a parking lot, near other restaurants and shops. This looks like a new Hotel with clean and spacious room and with a good price.

The air conditioner thermostat located in the wall was not working to adjust the temperature. We had to call the Front Desk and the Front Desk advised to use the controls in the air conditioner itself. They explained that they didn't synchronize the A/C machine to the wall thermostat yet. Maybe this was because the Hotel is newly constructed, but it was an inconvenience. The controls in the A/C did not work properly as well, so we had to call the Front Desk again, and this time the representative came to our room and adjusted the A/C temperature for the night.

Myra was great, I informed her of a tiny issue and she came up & checked it out, didn't get it to work and immediately with no hesitation she changed my room. Lucrida (housekeeping) was AMAZING and SUPER SWEET! Loved her vibe. Breakfast was good and ladies kept everything super clean.

The receptionist when we checked in on Saturday afternoon, December 16, was EXCEPTIONALLY nice. She was welcoming and made sure that we were all set before we went up to our rooms. FANTASTIC ~ I did not catch her name, I am sorry to say.

Really, all was great!

Very clean. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Little cafe/bar downstairs. Good breakfast options and Starbucks coffee.

Little hard to find it amongst the big Mall-like area. Once there everything was fine.

Room was modern and well designed. Good access to major roads and amenities. Breakfast was as expected, nothing fancy but adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Bed was a little to firm for our tastes but still slept well.

The room was clean and the decor was updated. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked so well, I had to turn it down.

There were a lot of clicking noises. It sounded as though someone kept trying to open door, but it could have been the a/c unit. I'm a light sleeper, so I didn't sleep well.

Clean, comfortable, and the evening desk lady who checked me in was SUPER NICE AND HELPFUL. However, the desk lady who came in at 6am was very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. She was on my floor being nosey and making noise for at least 15 minutes before calling me only for her to find out I had already extended my stay. She tampered with the Internet TV, and when I called for assistance she yelled at me I asked her to please watch her tone. Clearly she had some sort of issue with me. Besides, her attitude and the lack of housekeeping to ask if I needed services while I am standing in the doorway of my room she rolled on by and serviced the room across from me, that oddly a couple check out of at 5:30 am but now at noon there's another couple in the room and the housekeeper knocked and they just wanted bathroom services 🤔. Some strange things on this daytime shift. But the hotel is still very nice.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and it was a very quiet and peaceful hotel, which is what I needed. Also, I enjoyed the many options for breakfast. Spot on!!

I have no complaints.

This Fairfield is only about 2 years old so it’s very up to date. The hotel was exceptionally clean & everything worked properly. It is not adjacent to a busy road so it’s more quiet than most properties. The location is fantastic with many stores & restaurants in close proximity.

Very hard to find any flaws . The bed was average comfort & could have been a little better but we slept ok . The AC was adequate but the thermostat made a clicking noise when it cycled. The thermostat was near bed & disturbed our rest somewhat.

Limited on breakfast. Location was good.

Breakfast was grab and good with limited supplies. We were late by 2 minutes and can't get bananas. First was told it was put away can't get them and I said it was only 2 minutes. I guess they are reluctant to get the banana and then said they are all gone. Anyways that was the "thing" about breakfast. Second, I ask for shower cap and none could be found.
