Comfort Inn & Suites Love Field – Dallas Market Center

The room was large. There was an elevator. The hotel answered all of my messages ( we ended up checking in very late, 1 am the next morning for various reasons on my end). The bed had a pillow top. Plenty of pillows and towels. Very pretty crystal chandelier in the entry way of the hotel. Deluxe breakfast. The sausages were good, the eggs OK. A coffee machine to choose boldness of coffee or hot water for tea. Internet fast enough for me, but not fast enough for our son. The room was clean. Enough hot water. It was 6 minutes from Love Field-Dallas. Amazingly cold air conditioning. We had to turn it a little bit warmer.

We were never in a hotel with 3 sets of drapes. Outside drapes just for show, sheers that stay in the middle, and small opaque drapes to block the light from the parking lot and give you privacy. I figured it out, my son and daughter in law did not. They couldn't sleep with the parking lot light and changed clothes in the bathroom for privacy. Maybe at check in you could tell people about the drapes. The parking lot didn't seem large enough. There were a couple of old stains on the carpet. No fruit juices for breakfast.

I love the quietness of the hotel. I love the location...great for business.

There is not anything to dislike...from the kind and smiling faces of the staff, to the beautiful view from my bedroom. I spend a lot of time in hotels. My biggest surprise was a front desk supervisor or manager...well he should be, that is multi-lingual. It says Comfort Inn has a desire to communicate with all people!! You probably would need to leave the country to witness a greeting as such. The only negative is the hotel is older and smaller than most chains...but so much value.

Joe at the front desk was clearly overworked, but greeted me warmly. Initially, he could not find my reservation, but kept checking until he discovered what happened and got me checked in.

The smell of marijuana in the 3rd floor hallway -- especially with all the prohibitions on smoking in the building, including having to sign off on a $250 fee if any evidence of smoking were found in my room upon checkout.

Staff was very friendly. Location felt safe for a solo female traveler.

Hotel was a little run down. Smelled a little dirty in the hallways and lobby with strong, cheap air freshenr to cover it up. Never finished repair projects could be seen all around.

The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded a room when ours was not ready at check-in. The housekeeping staff we also friendly and very helpful when we caught them in the hallway needing to borrow a broom and dustpan. One of the housekeepers came to our room and swept up the mess for us.

Breakfast didn’t start u til 7:30, too late for us! The checkin clerk forgot our shuttle to the airport. We asked for one at 6:30, the morning clerk informed us they don’t start until 7:00. The morning clerk called us a Lyft. We were only 15 minutes late.

But if I had to trade staff...including housekeeping for a refurbished hotel, hands down...without contemplation....NO!! Staff is so personable that I have made this my home away from home.

Well if I had a magic wand, I would upgrade the hotel....the facility. It's an older hotel.

This was our 3rd stay...We stayed 5 nights for medical reasons. It is fairly close to hospitals. I feel very safe here. Even when I stayed a night alone while he was in the hospital. It is very clean and has been every stay over the years. The water pressure is great and water stayed hot. The toilet is really low to the ground so we may ask for accessibility room next time. I’ve stayed in real expensive hotels and this property tries to have the same feeling. Beds are real firm. I like soft but my husband loved it.

One male employee kept going outside to smoke and I guess he was the only one there. I had to find the tea bags myself. This only happened once in the 6 days though.

The hotel cant been Updated in awhile and it shows. There weren’t any usb ports in the room which left me unable to charge my stuff. It’s also right next to a big highway so it was pretty loud but most of Dallas is like that so it’s unavoidable.

Love the amount of room space, the bed is always comfy and clean, second time staying here

Did seemed a little more run down than the last time, ac unit seemed to not get as cold as it should. Highway is like RIGHT THERE which is good for location convenience but it does get loud.
