La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas Love Field

I love the modern and updated decor in the rooms and in the common areas. Breakfast was very good.

The Hallway to my Room was a muted light for my taste too dark. The same in the room .. too ambient lighting with muted brightness!!

We were looking for the hotel near the airport and this one was well priced! The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is free. The rooms are clean.

The airport shuttle works till noon which wasn't quite working for us. You can arrange something for later time, but not if you'd like the shuttle to take you FROM the airport.

I've stayed here a number if times over the years. It remains clean and comfortable. Some small signs of wear and tear on doors and in hallways but the room was nice. I've always loved the free breakfast here. In the past there were many more options. This time it was just eggs, sausage, bread. They did also have the containers of cereal and a waffle maker. The food was good, I just missed the burritos and other items available in the past.

The area is a bit more unsafe feeling than it used to be. As a woman traveling alone, safety is important. The catalytic converter was cut from my van overnight in the parking lot of the hotel, creating a bit of an emergency situation for me. While i know these thefts are up all over, the parking lot is a little more dim than some other hotels i saw in the area and its something I will have to consider for next time I'm in the area. Park as close to the front as possible. To be clear, I don't believe the hotel has any responsibility regarding this theft but I do think the lighting could be better given the overall nature of this part of Dallas.

Everything was clean. All staff we encountered were very friendly. Receptionist noticed I was in a walking boot and made sure to put me in a room closest to the elevator without me even asking. Pool looked nice but rain made it too cold to swim.

Two of the days they were out of some breakfast items. First day they filled it very quickly. Second day I think they quit putting stuff out pretty early. Food was good though.

The airport shuttle starts at 4:30 AM. When the shuttle was a little behind schedule, they paid for a Lift ride to the airport for me. The front desk clerk also got me a muffin, as it was too early for breakfast. I liked having a first floor room.

The Lift driver they called did not offer to help with my roll on suitcase, either loading or at the airport. Not the property's fault! When he arrived he was asking for the hotel owners name, not mine, which made it a little confusing. The hotel employee helped clarify things for me.

How the staff asked me what floor did I want and mentioned 3rd or 4th floor. I stayed in 305. Great staff.

I didn't like the fact that breakfast started at 6 am and ended 9am. That was too soon for me. Also the breakfast looked fresh and hot but they only had one meat which was bacon and eggs and waffle maker. For future reference, add more variety in breakfast like fresh strawberries and pineapples and bacon and sausage and maybe even turkey sausage. Even tho we ate breakfast elsewhere it looked very appetizing and delicious.

loved the property, only thing that was a little unpleasant was not enough staff when we checked in, all the luggage trollies were missing, when I asked the staff about it and the 2 employees upfront looked at the cameras and told us what floor one of the trollies was on. they let me and my friend know one of us would have to go get the trollies because they were to busy at the moment to go get it. so I had to go hunt down the luggage trolly and then I was told the wrong floor so I had to go back down the elevator to get the right floor this time and come back up Again, just to get the trolly cart,

Property is close to the Dallas love airport which is really convenient. staff is fantastic. There’s shuttle service to and from the airport you just need to call to coordinate. The room was clean and comfortable though if you’re a light sleeper, I would suggest getting a top floor away from the main road because you can hear it. Earplugs in a sound machine help with that.

If your state is for more than an overnight, it’s not too convenient to walk to restaurants.

The decor was really cool. We enjoyed the pool and lounges in the water. The hotel was in a convenient location to our activities, without being right in the middle of everything. Not too much traffic noise. Breakfast looked and smelled great, but we slept in. It was pet friendly; however, our dog ended up not coming, but that is always a plus for us when he is able to join us.

A few more towels in the room to start with would have been nice, especially since there weren't any on the way to the pool. But we easily could request some more with the front desk attendant.
