Deluxe Inn Fort Stockton

Room was large and very clean. Bed was quite comfortable. It had all the amenities I would expect in a somewhat more expensive accommodation: TV with good cable, good sized refrigerator and microwave.

Location was at the far side of town and not near much of anything. Air Con/Heater was hard to figure out and I had to call the front desk for instructions. The soap dispenser in the shower did not have any soap in it. One of the lights didn't appear to work (turned out it was attached to a power strip that was turned off. These were all pretty minor annoyances, so overall a very stay room for the price.

Even though this is an older motel, The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The heat/air worked great.

I didn’t like that there was only one wash cloth. There were 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. I was already undressed and too far to walk to office for another. When I went yo check out, the office was locked and only a key drop box. So no one to tell. I’ll be back again though. It was great value and clean.

Very pleasant, quiet, comfortable room. I like the color of the walls -- a soothing deep green. Bathroom features very good. I liked the dispensers for soap/shampoo rather than wasteful individual packages that end up in the landfill. Heat/AC work well. The staffpeople I deal with in my several visits were each extremely pleasant and helpful. I requested a "quiet room" away from the main road and was given such a room. This is the only place I stay when I'm in Fort Stockton.

On one visit, the TV didn't work but that was taken care of by manager.

The room was newly renovated and cleaner than name brand hotels where we have paid 4 times the price. We were able to park right outside the door which was convenient. The bed was comfy with nice sheets. There is coffee and a fridge in the room. This is the second time we stayed there as we were passing through Ft. Stockton. Would recommend. Can't beat the price.

I'm short and the bed is very high; needed a boost to get in. :-) While very comfy, the room is small.

This is where I stay when passing through Fort Stockton. I've enjoyed my stay every time. They have been very consistent over the years keeping the property and rooms well maintained. Everything was clean and functional. The bed was on the taller side which works for me since I'm tall 6'4". In fact, all the bathroom stuff was on the taller side which is rare and certainty welcomed. Curved shower rod keeps the curtain away from your body. They even provide a suction cup non-slip pad for the tub. The bathroom was spotless. The carpet in the main area was clean, the Wi-Fi internet was strong and didn't drop. There was an outlet and a light fixture by the bed which is always great. Heat worked great, water pressure was strong and plenty of hot water. The value for the money is where I like to be when I travel.

I spent two nights at the Deluxe Inn in Fort Stockton in a comfortable, clean, quiet refurbished, and reasonably priced room. Everything worked well: The bed was comfortable, the heater/air conditioner functioned quietly, the shower was strong with good water pressure, and most importantly because I had some work to do, the wifi was reliable and strong. The friendly, helpful owner was always there and available should there be a problem; however, I enjoyed a problem-free stay. Also, the ice machine worked well, and the room photos are accurate. Do not miss the nineteenth-century fort, the Annie Riggs Memorial Museum (an early twentieth-century hotel with an intact kitchen/dining area and much more–not to be missed), and the old jail. I enjoyed my two days here and would definitely return.

This is a older motel but completely remodeled recently. It has all you want. Coffee maker micro, fridge, flat screen TV, desk, comfy chairs. Good counter space in the bathroom. Good lighting. Very quiet AC unit. Nice bed and pillows. Iron and ironing board. Good location. Quiet. The price is exceptional 👌

Reception is a small window opening. No coffee or even Continental breakfast.

The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, It was nothing fancy or luxurious, just a simple very clean room with comfortable beds and pillow. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was perfect for the wife and I for an overnight stay during our trip to Arizona. I would definitely stay again under it's current management.

We fully refueled ourselves at this quiet and sparkling clean family-owned establishment for an exceptional value, with convenient parking in front of our room. The owners are superbly friendly and welcoming. Moreover, it’s perfectly located for those passing by on the road or traveling locally to discover and explore West Texas. Since work is keeping us here in the San Francisco Bay Area we needed to venture cross-country by car to empty our Austin storage and load up what we decided to bring back to California. Needless to say we were completely exhausted given our consecutive days of driving and emptying our Austin storage. The comfortable king sized bed, well-appointed and updated bathroom, will invigorate every tired traveller. This Fort Stockton’s gem was the perfect location for a safe and serene night to refuel for our long 3- day drive to Austin and 3-day drive back to the San Francisco Bay Area during our stay. My wife and I decided to stay because of the positive reviews and were not disappointed. It is an older motel and does not look impressive at first sight, but on closer review, we were very pleased. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The furniture was older, but who cares if it is clean and functional. If you need to unwind and watch some TV, you will find all the entertainment you need from direct tv. You can't get a better deal for the price.
