Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Stockton

Very clean and well maintained property, breakfast area and rooms. Free breakfast: good oatmeal (not a packet of instant with hot water) with lots of toppings: fruits, nuts, and sweet options. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, good coffee, bagels, yogurt and fruit were also available-all high quality for a free hotel breakfast. Helpful and friendly front desk staff.

Rocks instead of grass-but it's desert, so rocks are standard.

I wish we lived close to Ft. Stockton! The staff was welcoming, the room was very spacious, beds were soft and cozy, the pool and spa were wonderful, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There is a bar which was a welcome site after our long day of driving. This was the favorite hotel of our family and was the perfect end to our 10 day road trip.

Eggs looked “funky” but waitress was letting everyone know they were “real”—they looked powdered and watery so I didn’t taste

Google directions sent us out on s dirt road 6 miles from town apparently a “known” problem by staff. Since I hadn’t booked directly with hotel then I didn’t get directions from hotel until I called (dark late at night!!)

I like the privacy and security. On the 3rd floor, I had a great view of the fair and took photos. I liked having the hotel carts for baggage. A person in their 80s might need some help. I'm 77 and managed. When I was leaving, a couple of kind staff members on break outside (a woman took the initiative and ended up taking in the cart as well) took the cart back inside for me.

These kinds of hotels provide the comfort almost of an apartment style rental. But you end up with not a lot of orientation. I could not figure out if snacks near the front desk were included or not. Breakfast snackss did not stay out long enough.

Great location off the highway. Quiet and clean. They have a bar in the hotel I didnt get to use it though. The king suite had 2 TVs.

Parking setup, if your room is at the back you can't park at the back, due to the adjacent hotel next door. Breakfast ends at 0900( too early). I didn't get to try it so can't say what it was like.

Very easy checking -checkout. Convenient to the highway. Excellent accommodations, big shower clean rooms. He’s was comfortable and clean. No night noise,plenty of places to eat nearby and close to a gas station.

Most hotels have an in room brochure of instructions for YV use , breakfast hours,etc. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Very good night of rest, despite large gathering. Room and hotel were clean and comfortable. Upscale environment, what I've come to expect from Marriott's brand.

We only stayed one night but it was after a long day of driving. All we wanted was a clean comfortable place to get a good nights rest as we had another long day of driving ahead of us. This property fit the bill. It was also nice that they had a mini market because we got in late and we were hungry. We were able to get some Ramen and frozen mini pizzas and we didn’t have to go out to find something to eat.

The porridge tasted like gruel or, thin, watery and tasted terrible. Somehow the pit had never been turned on so it was not hot. The rest of the breakfast was ok

The air conditioner was vey noisy

This is by far the nicest place we’ve stayed on our vacation. The room was sparkling clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had perfect lighting for putting on makeup (unusual) and the in-room Rainforest Alliance coffee was good. Compared to other properties we’ve visited, this felt luxurious. We’ll be looking for other Fairfield Inns as we travel.
