La Quinta by Wyndham Glen Rose

The room was clean, the staff was working hard to keep everything going. Even though this is a very busy hotel, every staff member I encountered was very nice and helpful. Every La Quinta I have ever been to has always been that way. They do have the best operational policies regarding pets, last minute cancellations if you have an emergency in the middle of your trip, etc. I know because I have had to use them. They are always understanding.

They had a hard time keeping up with the coffee demand, and you know those little machines in the room are useless unless you are a fan of tinted water. Breakfast was fine, but so many people meant they ran out of eggs right away and I chose not to even try to get in line for a waffle. My tip would be to plan to eat elsewhere, otherwise it's a fine hotel.

The property was very nice and clean and the staff were SO friendly and happy to help with any issues! The staff being happy to help and provide assistance definitely outweighed any minimal issues we had.

We had an issue where the power went out to our room, but we found it comical because of a previous issue in our bathroom with the toilet not flushing. So the staff was very upbeat and friendly about the situation! There was also some construction, but other that that it was great!

The room was a great size (suite) and so clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice surprise and the kids loved it. Breakfast was outstanding and way more than I expected. Would definitely stay there again.

My biggest problem was getting enough towels. My reservation was 5 people, yet only 3 towels in the room so had to go to front desk to get more. Even left a note for housekeeping and still only get 3 towels. Finally just started going to pool and taking those. The shower was really hard to figure out and turn on and never could figure out how to use the tv's.

They were incredibly nice. I had just had major abdominal surgery at Lake Grandbury Medical Center, and they allowed me to check in a little early so I could lay down. The suite was so spacious and my family could stay in the living room while I recovered for the night. Thank you for making accommodations for me. The staff were wonderful. I have another surgery planned for July, and will stay here after I’m discharged as well!

the door to our room was very hard to open everytime we went into the room. It felt stuck every time. room 310. Also I left my pink sport watch in a desk drawer I believe and no one seems to be able to find it. I have checked with all the family members and all the luggage and the last time I remember seeing it was before bed the night before we checked out.

Everything was exceptional, the staffing, the room, breakfast was amazing, location is easily accessible

One critique fresh fruit at breakfast if possible but otherwise amazing, and maybe reclining chairs in the rooms just in case for those with sleeping disorders, might find it helpful or easier to sleep

Glad they offered a full hot breakfast and the pool was open in these lingering Covid days. The location was perfect for our Glen Rose Girls Weekend (me, Granddaughter, Daughter, and their puppy girl). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view from our 3rd floor window was nice, especially as we waited out the thunderstorms rolling through and watched the crazy wind blow the rain sideways in both directions!

Room smelled a little musty and the beds were overly hard. Not bad enough to complain about to the staff for just 2 nights when we were gone more than there.

dont like that L Quinta will not honor points since i use booking.com . will be in mondays through fridays for next 6 months may see what other options there are now.

The hotel was clean, front desk staff was courteous, the room was well lit and the bed was comfortable. We did not take advantage of the business center. The breakfast room was not available due to Covid, but we did receive "breakfast bags" when we left in the morning. Nice place with adequate parking and comfortable stay.

The only negative I could find was the location of the hotel was difficult to find since the address was a "W" (west) of a road and had small signs to follow. Other than that, we had no problems.

NEED Plugs on the lamp base PLEASE . I had to move furniture to charge: Cell Phone, Computer, Hearing Aids and Watch . Many places I stay have them at the base of the lamps.
