Houston Marriott South at Hobby Airport

Very clean comfortable room. Staff was friendly. Great amenities, like restaurant, bar, Starbucks coffee in the morning, indoor pool, and large comfortable lobby. We stayed 2 nights for a dance competition, which was held in the hotel, and it was very convenient because we didn't even have the hotel for meals. We enjoyed our stay!

Not in a great part of town, and even though parking was gated, several vehicles were broken into, including some of our friends.

I didn’t get to eat

It is a beautiful hotel. It had everything you could possibly need so you don’t have to leave the hotel for anything, and at a reasonable price!

It is difficult to differentiate between areas were you can just seat, relax and enjoy the view from those reserved for the restaurant use (they will not let you consume anything that you did not purchase there). While at the restaurant, one of the waitresses served us wine on a glass that was cracked on two places, but they changed us the glass and topped it off with new wine. When checking the indoor pool, there was a spider walking around it like she owned the place…

It was exactly what we were looking for in an area that wasn't the greatest. The parking was secured with a guard. And the room was spacious and beautiful inside the lobby. No microwave but they did have one on every floor and an ice maker. The staff was terrific especially the coffee lady and check out is noon! And we asked for an extra 30 minutes with no problem.

I thought the beds were a little narrow but it turned out to be fine. No internet TV. That's my biggest complaint.

The room was neat and clean. As always I'm a big fan of Marriott hotel bathroom, they're clean and tidy as well. I thought the hotel building concept was interesting as you could see across all the other rooms on the same floor. Also, location is accessible to the highway and other amenities.

Met my expectations.

there was a restaurant in the hotel. the indoor pool. the shower was really nice as well.

the breakfast could have been better with pancakes or waffles. the bar could have been open earlier than 4:30pm. the starbucks could be open all day and that would have been nice too.

Breakfast was very good. Only issue was the electrical outlets next to the bed did not work. There was no iron or ironing board in the room and no liquid soap for the shower. There was only one small bar of soap for the sink and for the shower.

Correction of the above issues would be great.

Quick and easy check in and staff was amazing from the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out. The buffet was amazing and the lady in the buffet, checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed before walking out. Thank you so much for helping us make this trip a memorable one.

I liked the accommodations which were very nice and clean, quite and great for my work activities. The only thing was the location, a bit far from restaurants, but it worked out well since I had a rental car.

the nextdoor neighbor kept trying to open. the side door in the room. They were also smoking and smell was coming to the our room. We were only there for a night and didn’t want to complain so late.
