Hyatt Place Dallas Las Colinas

The hotel itself was very nice, not too crowded and the rooms were fairly spacious. It was very clean and in a good location for our plans we had during this trip. Staff was very accommodating and hospitable.

The elevators were a bit scary, since they would sometimes make a lot of noise while on them, but technically, we didn´t really have a problem while one them. We also came back from our day out and our AC unit was out, but they quickly sent someone up to fix it, along with our toilet that seemed to be leaking slightly.

The room was bigger than I was expecting! It included a couch with a pull out bed which we ended up taking advantage of so we would each have our own space. Employees were very helpful and friendly. The air conditioner worked like a charm, especially with these extreme temps lately!

I was a bit surprised to find out that our room did not have a microwave. We had a mini fridge but no oven to reheat our leftovers from eating out (yes, I love my leftovers!).

I likes that it was close to where we used to live and work. I loved the breakfast options and the staff was extra attentive and nice! We also liked the fact that it was pet friendly.

I didn't like that the TV didn't work properly and even though we mentioned it and someone must have tried to fix it, after about 5 minutes it went right back to being blurry. Since we weren't in the room too much it was only a minor inconvenience.

Clean and location was close to the airport.

Not fond of the hidden charges. They need to mention the $50-$100 extra charge on top of your original fee. Kind of defeated the discounted rate. Other than that everything was great.

The rooms were a little old but they were clean, cool, and comfortable. I liked the layout of the room I booked, it had separation between lounging and sleeping areas. They accommodated my fragrance free request.

There was only one working elevator, but we experienced no excessive wait times. During our stay another guest told us she parked on the side of the building and the catalytic converter on her rental car was stolen. Be sure to park in the front where there is activity and cameras

The lady Jennifer in reception was very helpful when I called with questions before booking and when we actually arrived. Had she been rude, we would of stayed somewhere else!

The pool was closed at 10 but we were at the Epic Water park and they closed at 9. We were hoping to be able to still be able to enjoy the water some more. This might be the only reason to book somewhere else next time.

The breakfast was amazing and a highlight of the stay. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Beautiful common area in the entry with lots of places to hang out and relax.

The maid only came once in the 6 days we spent at the hotel. Also, only one elevator worked, which made for long wait times. Only lukewarm water in the shower, which was a bit disappointing..

Room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable.

The A/C vents blew right on the bed, and the vent angle was not adjustable. It wasn't comfortable having really cold air blowing right on us when the A/C turned on. Some folks may not mind this. We also had a toilet that would make leaking noises. We shot the door to the bathroom, and then we couldn't hear it.

The room is clean, the light excellent. I like breakfast. The location is close the airport, staff polite, nice. I did like my room, the hotel is quiet, just a nice place for work, and vacation.

The temperature in the room on the first day was a little bit cold, but acceptable.

The room was big, clean with a modern appeal to it. We had a fridge, coffee maker, iron board, blow dryer and a Holy Bible which was a plus! The only thing missing was the microwave. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. I loved the different levels on the shower head. Our bed was comfortable, sheets and comforter were clean and spotless. We had a couch bed that was comfortable as well. We really enjoyed our selves. Staff was very friendly. When it came to breakfast they did the best they could because of Covid 19. They had hard boiled eggs, microwavable sausage sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, muffins, breakfast bars, coffee, juice milk, and other foods to grab and go. I think there was oatmeal too. I don't drink coffee so I cannot say if it was good or not. We did not use the gym or pool. But it was available for use.

No microwave in the room. The room we stayed in had a door to go into the room next to us. I didn't like that because of I had kids with me that like to play with everything. It made me nervous.
