Omni Las Colinas Hotel

The facilities, staff, service, and amenities are top-notch - everything one would expect from an Omni. Views and location are fantastic, with guests able to walk by the river, sit by a bonfire in the evenings, and look at the water.

The hotel policy is to attractively price rooms and hit the customer with add-on charges. Internet is just under $15.00/day for "premium," and self-parking is slightly higher if I remember correctly; these policies bother me as a consumer.

My husband and I loved the view of the river from our room. We also loved how nice and spacious the room was.

The only thing we didn't like about the room was the shower. The water temp was like on a timer. So the longer you stayed in the shower the hotter the water got.

Room was bigger than usual hotel room. Bathroom was excellent. The large view windows were great for the views of the lake and the surrounding condos. The Flossie's restaurant was delicious and the service good.Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful.

It is about time to update the furnishings and the decor. The room is a bit drab by todays standards. The $25 parking fee is a bit excessive and then you tip the attendant on top of that.

Katie was wonderful. She took care of us and had our room with our special requests ready for us when we walked in (even for early check-in). The Omni was a beautiful hotel (a little dated in the decor, but very nice). We had huge windows in our room with a great view. The beds were so comfortable, We slept so good after a long day at Six Flags. Our little dog was welcome to stay with us too.

The Omni needs a little updating on the decor. Some of the furniture and bathroom reminded us of the 90's and was a little worn out. The mini fridge in the room barely worked enough to keep our dog's food from spoiling.

1. Towels were thick but very scratchy. Best back scratch I had in a long time! Made my legs peel. 2. Housekeeping was impeccable. 3. I asked the front desk for bathroom sink drip repair. No repair was made. Simply closed tightened the handle so tight I couldn’t open it. 4. The pool is fabulous, outside bartender is terrific but martinis are lame. 5. The views are phenomenal, maintenance needs to clean the windows. 6. The indoor restaurant is fantastic, service great, bartender spot on! 7. Beware tall people: every chair/sofa in the place is for short people. I am 5’10” and no chair was above mid-calf. Inside and outside! Better have good great thigh muscles. 8. We never could log onto the ‘free’ internet. 5 days. Five. Days. 9. The coffee/breakfast in the cafe downstairs is a decent price point and tasty. FYI

1. Not once did we see a cleaning crew cleaning the elevator. That does not mean it did not happen, it just was not often enough. 2. Need someone who walks the premises regularly, including the parking lot.

Everyone working there is friendly, helpful and in a great mood. Everyone tries to help and satisfy your needs.

I don't like that they still advertise as offering free shuttle service to and from airport. That was the reason I choose it, but when I call to ask where I would find the shuttle they told me it was not working anymore and I had to take a cab. So bottom line they are advertising a lie. I hate that.

location, the breakfast buffet was OMGOODNESS! The staff was very knowledgeable! it felt clean in there! pool was neat! the valet parking wasn’t overpriced either. EVERYTHING was great! oh yeah and usually in hotels the water pressure sucks nope the hot water was piping!

that little balcony gave me the creeps. I’m not afraid of heights but this one was a little shaky and maybe it’s because we were on the 20th floor! either way that’s the only thing that i wasn’t fond of!

View of the city from the room was wonderful. We had the corner suite and it was great. You could also walk out onto the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel over all was a delight

The hotel is dated. But they do a great job trying to make up for the dated decor.

Our room were very clean, we had great view and the temperature was adjustable to our likes, exceptional staff. Our requests (fridge in room, extra towels) were filled very quickly!

There needs to be more trash cans around the pool and in the poolside bathrooms. Other than that - everything was great!

Good location relatively close to the airport. Nice area för strolling around.

WiFi should be free of charge. Now you have to pay or register for free with a bonusprogram. That registration did not work so after talking to the front desk staff we got free WiFi. A hotel with this standard and price should have free WiFi.
