Tropicana Inn and Suites

The elevator was not working and my reserved room was on the second floor. I explained that I have some joint issues and could not do the stairs for the entirety of my stay. They said that they only had a bigger room available on the first floor (which cost more). The manager gave me the room for the same price. It was a difference of $20 but I appreciated that they did not give me a hard time but instead were hospitable.

The elevator did not work. This is something they should mention.

A very nice place.a little dated but nice.very clean,bed is comfortable,I'm staying a 2nd day.here on Work related business.when in the dfw metroplex will choose Tropicana motel and suites most definately.i give it 5 big stars overall very pleasant stay so far.front desk very up on there duties.kudos you guys.great job overall...one of best accommodations room had love seat type couch desk and nice office chair.coffee table nice not too big not too small flat screen TV with full blown cable service and all the sports channels.great place to lay your head and relax.quiet!!!

Only didn't like was the room did not have a discounted weekly rate,only day by day rental rate....blah! The Tropicana

Location is close to places but also not near a lot of noise generating locations. Comfortable room, plenty of space and desk space for doing some work there. Staff was accommodating. Never had an issue parking. Whole parking lot is well lit and they have security cameras everywhere.

One of the side doors doesn't work, the panel is broken and AC leaks right next to that door. this was unfortunately on the side of the hotel I was on. Also they charge a $20 refundable deposit for non-smoking rooms which was not mentioned when I filled out things on booking.com. I was told they couldn't fit all options on there with the site. Luckily I had a 20 on me.

Big spacious clean room

Staffers overly attentiveness to my sitting outside in a format of trying to find a quiet comfortable space to be alone , think and get a little paperwork completed. (Didn’t end up taking place for me due to unexpected unnecessary concerns of staff

I have stayed there many times, maybe 7 or 8. I love that the room is spacious and has tile flooring. I don't like hotels with carpet because of hygiene/cleaning reasons. Quiet location

I could smell cigarette smoke from next door which defeated the purpose of a non smoking room. Usually, I am located near the end of either side of the hall. This time, I was in the middle so I believe that made the difference of me smelling smoke.

I did not eat breakfast there. I loved having a microwave oven and small refrigerator in my room. That was a great surprise.

I have no complaints, especially with the great rate I paid for 5 nights.

This was a great place! Yes a little out dated but I highly recommend them! The rooms clean, I seen it was family ran and love that it is! The staff was all very nice and understanding! The rates were amazing but my all time favorite was the staff! I appreciate them very much!

I really enjoyed the separation between bed and like a small living room/office. I was able to sit down at the desk/office while my lady was sitting on the couch/living room and able to enjoy a fresh breeze from the window and watch TV. She really enjoyed our stay here cause I was able to conduct business for the following week while being close to me and talk to me about other things on a comfy couch instead of a bed!

Staff was friendly, microwave and fridge were working properly, room and bathroom was clean, ac was good. Ample amount of parking. Felt safe. Great value for money! Lived for 15 days!
