Hampton Inn & Suites La Porte, TX

Breakfast was great They were clean the ladies in the kitchen were on it and I would definitely be going back. My son and family lives there I was able to take my grandkids back to my room It was upgraded to a suite so that they can spend the night with us at the hotel and it was perfect there was plenty of room It was spacious. The lady at the front desk the night of check in was very helpful and pleasant!

I don't have anything that I would have changed for this visit.

Norma (at the front desk) was especially helpful. She told me how to become a rewards member after I told her that I was planning another trip. I plan on using the Hilton rewards program after being loyal to Marriott for many years.

I didn't like how you have to walk outside to access the pool. In most nice hotels such as this one, there is an access door through the the building. I feel safer knowing that the general public can't just walk up to me from the parking lot.

Huge compliments to the cleaning staff, they do a very, very good job, I've never seen the room cleaned so thoroughly every day, the staff at reception are incredibly friendly, the hotel is generally very good.equipped clean new and in very good condition

I had a room with a connecting door and unfortunately there are guests like Mexicans who don't know when to be quiet, so it wasn't always quiet.

Everything was amazing!!! Love how the whole placed was decorated for the 4th of July!!

We had 4 people in our room but only 3 sets of towels. When I asked for one more set I was told no. My son ended up using a pool towel to shower with.

it was great customer service and they were nice to let us check in a bit early I really appreciate that.

the Pool was nice but It was dirty it was not on, the shower would only do hot water so we had to endure cause we were tired and didn’t want to deal with more stress but I did let them know before leaving about the shower issue.

The property was modern and updated, clean, decorated for the season and really nice.

The beds are my only complaint. They are very hard. I’m sure some like that so it’s just a personal preference for me

The hotel is very nice, clean, and quiet. It is in a good location. Your bagged breakfast consists of a fruit, breakfast bar, muffin and a bottled water which I suppose is sufficient. There are hand sanitizers in the lobby area and social distancing signs throughout.

We were checked in by the manager, Toye J, around 10:45P. When we walked in and proceeded to the counter where she was standing, she did not greet us, but rather stated at us as if we were from another planet and she hadn’t any clue as to why “we” would come into the Hampton Inn, with luggage, and approach the reservation desk. I spoke to end the awkward stare, by stating that I had a reservation. The conversation was very terse and a bit rude in her tone and speech. I was appalled, yet, not overly surprised because another reviewer had a similar experience with the unfriendliness, unprofessionalism, and blatant display of a lack of soft skills by the first-face you meet at the check- in desk.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite. They had a free breakfast and more importantly the coffee was good.

The water pressure was pretty low and the water had a temperature threshold although it did get warm. The sink faucet was too close to the corner of the sink so it was difficult to wash your hands but those were really the only flaws.

This place is clean and very comfortable . My kids enjoyed the breakfast that was provided and I was very pleased with all the fresh hot food they had . The pool is comfortable and just enough space not to be crowded. I would definitely come back to stay here.. only 19 min to Kemah boardwalk.
