La Quinta by Wyndham McAllen La Plaza Mall

The truth is almost nothing, it’s a Motel 6 refurbished and for Military personnel use (which btw I like ‘em) and the rest of guests not at all.

“The name” because we thought it was in the La Plaza Mall so its is on purpose and tricky. Bottom line it was a mistake for us and we’ll never go back to that Hotel.

Excellent location (La Plaza Mall is a -must-). Free Parking. Breakfast included. Great service (all people were very nice). Super -Pet Friendly-. Comfortable rooms in all senses. Good internet service. Definitely staying here next time we are in McAllen.

Probably a little bit better breakfast. Now, don't get me wrong, breakfast is good but could be a little bit different: Try considering people with -keto- diet, diabetes, or lactose intolerance in your breakfast menu.

The hotel was a great place for the price. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and the location was perfect, for the area we were visiting. The location was also very close to the shopping mall and airport. They also had a decent breakfast which one less meal I had to pay for during my trip. It was not the best, but it hit the spot. Most important, I was traveling was my family and we felt very SAFE.

Although not the property’s fault, both elevators broke down at the end of our stay. The staff did offer to help bring the luggage down to the lobby at check out.

The breakfast was quite disappointing… actually very disappointing for my taste if you didn’t arrive really early then you won’t find any fruits.. or bread or anything basically.. the people was all crowded there without masks or anything coughing on the food anyway.at the end we decided not to have breakfast the 2 days even if we paid for it.

Good breakfast. Scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, waffles, bread, bacon, fruit, juices, and parfait. Very complete and good flavor. Simple but good gym with all machines working. Nice pool and hot tub. Room was clean and everything working properly. Staff was very nice.

Seems like they had a problem with the wifi and it wasn't working.

I liked how staff was very nice and helpful to me, breakfast was amazing there for sure, beds and hotel room was very nice and comfortable for sure! I’ll probably be back here if I come to McAllen again.

The only flaw I give was the shower. Water was very weak and hot water runs out so quick but other than that I enjoyed my stay there.

I liked the staff and room.

It is I did not like the confusion between booking and the hotel. I was expecting a bigger room with a sofa bed as advertised in the app. I'm not sure who is at fault, but please work to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance team.

well a couple of things, the front of the hotel looks like it was still under construction, there were two stairs on the sheets and the shower door wouldn’t stay closed

Breakfast was good, room was great! Staff wasnt the most inviting but they weren't bad. Overall very good!

Staff could be nicer more inviting. Shampoos and conditioner could be WAY better. It dries out your hair sooo much.

Is my favorite and stay here every time I need to stay in McAllen. Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast and pet friendly. But their best asset is their staff; always courteous and helpful
