Nora, the lady who welcomed us to the hotel was exceptional she could not have been more helpful, she stayed late after her shift as our train was late to make sure we got checked.in ok and was full of useful recommendations . Location was perfect for our 2 night stay 10 minutes walk from the Riverwalk 15 to the Alamo if I remember correctly. No breakfast was included but lots of good value diners nearby.. 5 minutes walk from Amtrak in a safe neighbourhood

Can't think of any negatives . This place is a hidden gem.

Our receptionist was the SWEETEST, super friendly, helpful, and informative. I wish I could remember names but I believe it was either Nora or Norma (we stayed October 7th and met her at around 5. Hopefully she gets credit because she truly was so sweet. Definitely want to book there again just because of her. Our room was super clean and the bed was so comfy we slept as soon as we got back from our night out. Also, I want to mention I'm very quick to notice anything that's dirty in the restroom and I was very surprised at how clean it was, even the shower was spotless.

Wifi was not available to us, they did mention they were working on it though. My only complaint about the room was that it was very dim, wish there was more lighting.

The room was very clean and close to the Riverwalk . The spa tub was wonderful .

The hotel doesn't offer breakfast . House keeping doesn't come everyday to change bed sheets or pick up the dirty towels . Our check out time was 12pm , whenever we left the room around 9am to put our bags in the vehicle the door wouldn't allow us to use our key cars to get back into the room. We had to go back to the front and have them reopen it.

I loved how small the property was, it only has 20 rooms… We stayed for the UIL state marching band competitions being held at the Alamodome and we were wanting something walking distance and this was perfect it was the closest property! They allowed us to check in a little early and the room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable!

The ONLY thing was the shower head was not the best in our room… I guess you could say the spray pattern was not the best? It was like no water was coming from the center part only the outer edge, It had great pressure just something wasn’t right about that… it really wasn’t a big deal at all though still had a great stay!

Ideal location for Alamodome events and walking distance to Riverwalk, Alamo etc. Comfy room and had everything we needed for a short stay (incl. hairdryer, toiletries, fridge, coffee maker). Staff were great!

Not a negative for us, more for information that this is a 'no frills' kinda place - onsite food is either a vending machine or outsourced room service. There are plenty of options nearby though.

The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. Our tv was acting up, and we let them know on our way out for the day. It was fixed by the time we returned, and one of the ladies at the front desk called up to our room when we returned to check in with us about it. When we ordered food to be delivered, our delivery driver forgot utensils. The lady at the front desk not only gave us plastic forks, but napkins too!! It was a pleasant stay because of their hospitality.

The bed could have been more comfortable, but the rate was reasonable.

Great location! Walking distance to everything! Comfortable bed! Great views of Downtown out of our window.

The A/C unit was noisy, and seemed to struggle a bit. It was very hot and humid outside during our visit, so that was probably a major contributing factor.

This was an excellent location to attend an event at the Alamodome. The front desk people were friendly and helpful.

Lack of places to buy food or drink within walking distance. Traffic noise was a bit loud at times.

The location was convenient to the Riverwalk but it wasn’t crowded & we felt safe. It was very clean and worked well for our stay. Nora, the lady at the front desk, was kind & friendly. She gave us good recommendations & made us feel welcome.

The mattress was very firm & the pillows were thick.

It is a nice place to stay. There is parking in front of the hotel and the lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful! It is walking distance from the River walk and the neighborhood is nice. It has all the amenities that you need for a pleasant stay. Will stay here again!

It is close to the train station and my wife was woken up by the trains couple of times during the night. So have that in mind when booking. I didn't have a problem with the noise so it depends by the tolerance of the person.
