The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio

Shower was excellent. The location of the hotel was fabulous; not too far from the eateries yet far enough away from the club scenes allowing for a peaceful retreat.

Did not have Sangria at the bar.

The concierge Petra was super helpful, inviting and accommodating. I would go back just to see her again.

The support for Booking.com was lacking. We needed to make changes to our reservation and the Booking website was not helpful at all. There is a huge disconnect between Booking.com and the property.

Perfect location, with a nice restaurant to have dinner at. The bed was extremely comfortable (this for me was the highlight of my stay) and big rooms. Very clean.

No one helped us with our bags. I think this is standard perhaps in COVID times, but I still find it strange that you stay in a four star hotel and you have to deal with your multiple bags. We also had an issue with our credit card being blocked for 3 rooms instead of the original two we booked. When we arrived and swiped the card the man behind the desk was adamant the first charge didn´t go through when in fact it was clearly "approved". It was fixed on the check-out but we were glad we were carrying other cards as it takes a few days to free the original amount.

When I started looking for a hotel in San Antonio I failed to realize it was 4th of July and all the prices were inflated. I’ve never paid so much to stay in San Antonio at a Marriott establishment. Best Western had the best rate, so I booked. Jeez, you get what you pay for. The rooms were tiny and smelled like sweaty armpits. We immediately did an about face and booked at The Westin. After seeing that room I didn’t mind paying $100 more for something that wouldn’t give me that sleeping “under the bridge” experience. We were so happy with The Westin.

Ummm. Nothing.

The location, lobby, and room were wonderful.

The restaurant service was TERRIBLE. We had to wait for 15 mins on Sunday morning for a table and we decided to leave. You were short staffed, but the manager was amazing, giving us coffee and fruit to go

Location...I like being right on the river and close to downtown and the shopping areas and right off the interstate.

The Pillows was too soft. I prefer a pillow that doesn't sink into the bed when I lay my head on it

Location! location! There is renovations going on but we never heard anything. The staff, especially front desk,was lovely and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the TV great!

Parking lot hassle, restaurant for breakfast was just eh, could've been better.

the valet parking is the worst, it took 45 minutes to get our car, it was Sunday morning and it gets busy, but for an hotel like the Westin, this isn’t acceptable

All staff, from Valet, front desk, and concierge all were very polite, helpful and welcoming! These were the 1st and last people that we interacted with who work for the hotel. I have nothing but good to say about them. Great job!!

For the most part a good place to stay. Room needs upgrading. Coffee maker was inoperable, Shower would not completely shut off the water, allowing it to drip water all night long. Door to balcony was hard to close. Bathroom floor was sticky. Possibly from COVID sanitation.

Very comfortable and nice rooms. Valet and staff were helpful in taking up our luggage. Check in lady was helpful in putting our two rooms next to each other because I forgot to ask prior. Bar downstairs which led right out to Riverwalk. Only stayed one day but liked what I saw.

Wish bar stayed open til 2 am but that's personal preference I guess.
