Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Antonio Brooks City Base

I’m big on Safety and Cleanliness, Especially these days. Most People, and Families alike , need and want to know, that as they spend their money, they are investing in companies that support what they care about. This hotel Exceeded our expectations. The hotel’s front support staff was very friendly and supporting each time I called before we arrived. They assured me the place was safe and clean, it was just that. The Breakfast was good with wonderful and healthy food choices. The food area was neat and clean. Great Job to the ladies who managed the food station. The rooms were neat and clean. The convenience of its location really helped our travel to the Convention center down town San Antonio with ease. Also, the hotel is convenient to everything: Walmart, Dollar tree, Sams club, and Chick Fila. It’s like I never left home. Also, the cost for our stay,,,GREAT and Very Affordable. To God be the Glory for this wonderful stay. I hope this hotel will keep up the good work and SOAR even higher. Great and genuine Hospitality shown to ALL people will cause your name to be remembered in the earth for a lifetime. But most importantly, I pray your works will please God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Blessings

The location was great. There's literally a Target, Wal-Mart, H.E.B., Sam's Club and various restaurants down the street. The room it self was very clean can't complain. The breakfast was great it consists of scrambled egg, bacon, ham, cheese omelets, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruits, yogurt and different breads. An added plus is there is security in the parking lot at night. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

While it wasn't a big deal I feel the mattress was a little too firm for my liking. It was still comfortable though.

Brenda was the young lady’s name that assisted us upon check in and she was very cordial. I had prepaid on line but your records did not reflect. She called her supervisor and it was fixed. I appreciate her going above and beyond in caring to rectify the situation and giving me a peaceful (2) night stay.

The Staff was very accommodating especially the hospitality staff! Breakfast had a nice selection, coffee was always ready, hot and I had any extra I needed for it.

The mattress in our room was very firm. I ended up leaving our stay with some moderate back and hip discomfort. Also, the couch in the sitting area was very uncomfortable. Absolutely not conducive for napping.

It was a good location. Several restaurants were close by and HEB was very close

The breakfast didn't have as many options plus the sausage was only Luke warm. One of our friends Air conditioners wasn't in top condition.

Staff and location were great. Rooms were clean.

I would have rated this stay a 10 if the heater worked. We stayed and the weather in SA was 42 degrees but the heater in our room was not working. Besides that, this hotel is amazing.

Everything but what we didn’t like.

We were told about $20 hold on credit card and the next day there was another $80 hold on card. Need to be clearer. Customers don’t like surprises. Also chair in room was dirty.

Location was awesome had every store around you just in case and every well known restaurants and local favorites. Distance from down town only 10min away

Just check your sofa beds and underneath them...i know they may not be used often but it is possible and should be considered

The hotel was nice, rooms clean and spacious. But don't leave anything out, if u don't want it stolen

The staff stole items that were left by accident. Called within 2 hrs of noticing them not with us. No one could give a straight answer. One said, nothing was found, second person said they never went to look in the room, when others said they did. Filed complaint with corporate.

Melinda, the front desk clerk, was awesome. She upgraded our room when she found out I was celebrating my birthday. She was very thoughtful & professional

I know businesses are trying to be safe but I have been to hotels that are serving hot breakfast during covid, it's just not a serve yourself situation so I feel hot breakfast could have been served also I requested housekeeping services & didn't receive them at all.
