WindWater Hotel and Marina

Loved the location, the option to fish, loved how great the cleaning crew did. The pool and hot tub were great at night time during the weekday.

I absolutely hated the lack of shade over the pool and lounge areas. It made the pool water sooo hot during the daytime. After a nice long day at the beach all we wanted, was to relax in the shade around the pool and that was never an option. There was 1 umbrella which was always occupied so please fix that! Get more umbrellas or something! One other thing, the water in the bathroom shower never got hot! It was Luke warm at best.

We were so surprised when we got here because we had read all the bad reviews but it was nicer then we expected and the front desk lady was so nice. My family also enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay here again

We did see a couple bugs but I’m sure they are just like water bugs but of course there’s water everywhere and they have an ice machine but they give you no buckets for ice like any other motel I’ve been too.

I liked how we were on first floor with our own back patio and a place for my dog to do her business. Everyone was friendly. Rooms were ok. Close to everything!

Bed was kind of hard. Room was dusty. I ended up wiping everything down… but after I did that it was great and comfy.

The staff was very friendly! The location was convenient, pretty-much in the center of town.

Harsh lighting with no controls. The bathroom fan is attached to the light switch, and it's excessively loud! There's a desk, but it's too high for the chair they provide. (So if you do any computer work while you're there, bring what you need!) Also, there is NO BREAKFAST, and No Coffee in the Lobby (only in the room).

It was literally walking distance to the beach and among many shops and restaurants. Next door the where we stayed was a place to ride jet skiing.

Parking

The location was great with a nice view of the bay. I also liked that it had a fish area and that there were grills provided too. Room was clean and loved that there was enough space for the pets too.

Since Covid we weren't able to get breakfast like we wanted. The pool hours could be a little longer, and maybe some extra and thicker blankets to stay warm. Above all really cozy.

We stayed in the king suite. I liked that you could fish right from your backyard. I think the king suites are the only rooms on the first floor by the water. I could be wrong. The floor was tile so highly suggest you take a broom especially if you have a crawling baby like me.

The WiFi did not reach to the fishing area or our room. The sofa bed was a bit loud & uncomfy but good thing we took extra blankets for a little more cushion.

We loved the view to the bay from the bed.

Room needs a bit fixing. We wanted coffee but the coffee maker was missing parts. We couldn't enjoy the pool because a lot of people were in already. Remote wasn't working properly. Overall we loved the location. We wanted to stay longer as per front desk lady no more rooms available.

The view of the marina was absolutely beautiful and very romantic, the pool is a little small but it was still very relaxing and private. Parking was convenient. The rooms were a little outdated but very clean and very comfortable bedding, the bathroom amenities included were also very neat. Had a wonderful stay.

The bathtub/shower area does need to be bleached because of stains but was not moldy or foul smelling so no big deal for the price.

The rooms were clean and the staff was exceptional! the other guests at the hotel were so friendly. Overall, it was a truly great experience!

This hotel is animal friendly, which I love. I brought my two dogs with me but there is no where to walk the dogs around the property.
