Holiday Inn & Suites Spring - The Woodlands

Front desk staff made me feel so comfortable, like coming home to a friendly face. Bed was very comfortable.

Lots of hot water issues on my last extended stay. First no hot water several days. Then after fixing, scalding hot water alternating with cold, like the temperature is set too high, but there is no regulator to keep it from alternating scalding and cold….I assume because of someone else using the water? Made showering a nightmare and I was getting burned to just wash my hands or have to jump out of shower over and over.

The Hotel room was excellent, except for a small maintenance problem, the toilet flush handle was lose and needed adjusting after each flush, or the tank would continouly run. Beside the above small detail, the bedroom was clean and comfortable, so as the bathroom and living room and most of all morning breakfast was beyond excellent.

See above, the running toilet and may be consider installing a little HIGHER toilets. As a senior citozen I found it quite lower than standard.

Location

Cold water in shower/tub didn't work, it was scalding. But in the morning I told them about it, they provided acess to the connected room and allowed me to shower there. They fixed the problem within a couple hours, was able to use it for the next 2 days.

The facility was very clean. Great lighting in the parking lot. The beds were very comfortable. Enough space for a family of four.

We had dirty towels folded up in our bathroom. It looked like someone took off their make up and put the towel back but was never checked by house keeping.

Generally all round good value for money offering with a human touch from the receptionist (who was beyond brilliant)

Not much really we were well looked after. This is just a standard chain hotel so you know what you are getting as its the same at all Holiday Inns.

The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip, close to family, shopping and the airport. The breakfast was good considering the restrictions and cleanliness standards during this pandemic. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

When I checked in, I was given a card to request the type of service I wanted. Just asked for our amenities be replenished, towels changed and trashed emptied daily. It was done only twice during our four day stay. One night, there was no hot water.

This is our go-to hotel when visiting relatives. Always pleased with cleanliness and staff! No surprises.

Please turn off TV and/or mute TV first thing (6am) in morning. We come down quite early, 5:30-6, for coffee and would like some peace and quiet. The cartoons blaring from TV was very annoying. The front desk clerk did change channel and lower the volume. But I would have preferred it off at 6am! Same could be said for the background music constantly playing. Just lower the volume please!

I request 2 queen size beds and because we checked in around 9 pm they were all taken.

The price, location. We visit the area often but we’ve never stayed at this one. We always stay at another location. Wanting to get a hotel closer to my brother and nephew, I wanted to try this location but mistakenly booked the wrong location on booking.com and the lady that was at the front desk was very friendly. Once booking cancelled the other rooms at the other location for me , she was able to accommodate me.

So the front doors close at 11pm and we didn’t get back from visiting until after 11. My son and his family did a surprise visit and wanted to stay at the same hotel that my mom and I was staying so by me already having 2 rooms there already, I had a key to get in the side door because again the front door locks at 11pm. Well once we got to the front desk, there was a big guy that came from the back. We wasn’t greeted at all, the first thing he asked is “ How did you get in here” very rudely. Clearly I didn’t come through the front because they were locked. He should’ve greeted us way differently.

The staff were all friendly. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. They served a hot breakfast with a few different options which was really nice. Check out is late which is great.

We were in town for business, long haul with a truck and trailer, parking was difficult.
