Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salt Lake City N - Bountiful

The newly remodeled Holiday Inn Express was an outstanding place to stay, especially if you are visiting Bountiful or Centerville Utah. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had quadruple windows ( 4 panels) on the freeway side rooms which blocked out ALL OF THE FREEWAY SOUNDS! It was so close to entrances and exits from the H15 and close to restaurants and gas stations. The staff at the front desk and the room attendants were so nice and professional. Even though we stayed for 8 days, the room attendants knocked on our door and asked if we wanted fresh towels every day. It’s just two blocks from Planet Fitness, which was a plus for us. The pool was wonderful as was their breakfasts. Kudos to the newly remodeled and newly re-staffed Holiday Inn Express in Bountiful

Everything in this newly remodeled hotel was wonderful- nothing to complain about

My number one priority in a hotel is how well I sleep there, and I sleep well here. The rooms are very quiet and the beds are very comfy. The blackout shade is 100% blackout with no gaps and doesn't need to be fussed with to work. Rooms smell clean without smelling like strong cleaners. The breakfast is much better than typical continental breakfasts. The desk staff are always very pleasant and helpful. I've stayed here three times, five nights total and I plan to keep coming back.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean.

Continental breakfast was somewhat disappointing. The sausage patties were cold and hard, and the eggs were all gone, and never got it refilled as long as I was down at the breakfast area. Could use a little more variety in the breakfast. Also, the chlorine in the pool room was very strong. Might be nice to have windows that open to air out that room.

Very convenient location, easy on/off to I-15. Room was quiet even though the property was fully booked and my room faced the freeway. The suite was spacious, with a separate bedroom, small fridge, and microwave. There was a TV in the main living area as well as one in the bedroom. The bathroom was well appointed and clean. There was plenty of lighting and the heat was easily set and warmed up the room nicely.

The room was starting to show its age. The furniture looked a little ragged, with a couple of stains. The TV's were older and took several seconds to warm up and turn on. Plus I thought it was odd that the channel line-up was different between the two sets. Also, even though I understand not having a hot breakfast offering on New Year's Day, it would have been nice to have been aware of this before arriving at the property.

Quiet even though on the freeway. Easy to get to and close to gas station and Texas Roadhouse. Rooms were large with a sofa and TV upon entering the room and the bathroom and bedroom further back. Very clean. Breakfast was typical and the eggs and sausage were hot.

Nothing to complain about.

A very nice place right off the highway. The breakfast had very good cinnamon rolls that were even hot! A lot of things to do and see right outside the hotel.

If w am to say anything negative, then I missed some vegetables to the otherwise great breakfast.

We stayed here in April and I've come back to review it because I said I would because I really loved it. I expected something run of the mill and impersonal but it had this rustic charm, cozy and comfy (perfect name) but it was very clean and had a modern bathroom with very nice furniture, especially the beds. I loved the high ceilings and we faced the mountains so we had such a gorgeous veiw. And still, it was right by the freeway, so easy access to go into town and be tourists, The staff and manager, who I happened to say hi to, were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and even the woman, that is actually a chef, were wonderful, even though it was just a simple buffet. Everything felt personalized and really homey.

The property was close to a lot of shopping places and it was a short distance to the event center we needed to be. The bathroom was excellent & totally loved the sink.

The walls in our room was dirty, tape on the walls, stink bugs in our windows as well as no window screen in one of our windows so we couldn’t open it because the bugs would of came in. The pillows lost the fluffy feeling fast & the beds were a little to soft that you can feel and hear the springs when you laid down.

Location fantastic; staff excellent.

Phone in room did not work. Safe was locked upon arrival and no one knew how to fix so left laptop at front desk. Door lock mechanism broke and would not work with keycard. Maintenance eventually fixed.

Breakfast was great, service was also but in room 407 when the water in the bathroom sink is turned on it makes a ticking noise because the pipe are evidently not anchored above the ceiling perhaps you should check other rooms as well & when you remodel you need to address that problem otherwise it will continue regardless of not addressing this issue.

Show the one girl who takes care of the breakfast needs to learn how to mix the pancake mix better, it sometimes i runny & other times it's too thick for the waffle mix needs a little more practice. Sometimes she is at the front desk other times in the food department. The other taller dark hair girl seems to know just how to handle the mix much better. She need to teach the blonde girl who is also very nice how to do it better. Both girls are very nice & pleasant.
