Aikens Lodge

nThe 50's atmosphere is wonderful. We had an amazing week and our family enjoyed it. We rented the house, a three bedroom room unit and a two bedroom unit for our family reunion. This was a great centeral location. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The house with patio and grill was a great gathering place! Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was nice. They are currently working with the Best Western right across the street and the continental breakfast was very good there. I would highly recommend this place! We will stay again. Or hostess Lizzie was the bomb!

COVID aftermath makes everything harder yet, but we really have no complaints

The front desk was awesome, getting my room set up and providing additional information on the events in Kanab. I try to stay at the Aiken every time I travel through Kanab because it is a well-kept, rustic motel in a well-kept jewel of a town. They have upgraded the appliances to retro (vintage 50's) style exterior and that adds a bit of flavor to the experience.

That was the best hotel that I’ve ever stayed in! You have two options on breakfast (earlier you can go to other hotel and eat there from the buffey or later you can eat in the Aikens Lodge). I was getting up early and the breakfast was awesome! The AC was working really good, the beds were so comfy, we had coffee machine in the room and microwave in the lobby. I would recommend it to everyone!

A little too small bathroom.

The staff was Awesome!!! Super helpful and kind. They called to let me know when the office closed for the night and what options I had for after hours check in. They were also very gracious and kind to my children at breakfast. We felt welcome and well cared for. We will stay here again. The beds were comfortable, the location was quiet, the blinds are good blackout blinds, and we felt safe.

I have yet to look up the reason for the $13 difference in booking charge. There was something strange that caused my first payment to be rejected and the second time I payed the cost was increased. I still have to look into it when I get home.

The room and bathroom were very clean, it has a nice small refrigerator and freezer and a coffe machine. The staff were nice and helpful. Great location in the middle of the town. The parking in front of the room was very comfortable.

The bed was a little bit old and not firm enough for us.

Our room was very clean and everything worked well. Nice to have a refrigerator and air conditioning. Breakfast was good next door. No problems.

Facilities were a little old, but were very clean. Thought it was a little pricey, but par for the area.

Nice and cozy room. They sent us to another hotel for breakfast, which was fine for us.

We had problem with the shower. With the same setting, one minute the water was coming out cold, next minute it was super hot. So you have to be very careful if you do not want to get burnt. Their office is only open from 3pm to 9pm.

Very clean. No bugs. The bed is comfortable. The staff were very friendly and informative. Very close to the tourist sites and town amenities.

Breakfast was very minimal. Pastries, coffee, juice. And there was no place to sit. The floors squeak in the bedroom and bathroom. Once you start moving around (I'm an early riser), everybody is woken up. We stayed for 4 nights and our trashcans were never emptied, or maybe we could have called :( .... Wish the pool was open (we came in April). Would have been nice to cool off after hiking.

Clean, cozy and older but very well cared for property, better than some newer facilities The pink retro metal Griffith chairs in the front of the rooms is a nice touch. I loved the restored flat bed truck that is in display in the front.

No microwave although I knew that was the case. Still a microwave would have been nice. I would really like if they had postcards for sale that capture the property in times past.:)

Friendly staff and pet friendly! Owners have done a good job at keeping the location cute and cozy. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot. Great place to chill after a day exploring Zion or Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Walking distance to two markets and plenty of restaurants. Very impressed with selection of food for such a small town. Would definitely stay here again!

Needs a microwave, has a fridge. Needs more plug ins for the appliances. Maybe add a surge strip? The continental breakfast was bit lackluster. Not even a bagel :(
