Quality Inn Kanab National Park Area

Very clean, very safe location, cute decor. Located right by a gas station and Wendys. I preferred this stay over the Red Cabins personally.

The AC was being a little goofy, but was still working, I just had to set it to lower then normal the blow cold air. For my folks unable to use stairs, they did not have a working elevator so make sure to get a handicap accessible room on the first floor!

Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel had great access. Not in walking distance to restaurants in town, but that was okay for us. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was clean, organized, and good. We loved that the coffee/hot cocoa bar was accessible all day.

For a Quality Inn level hotel, it was excellent for our stay. There wasn't much we didn't like. We were there during the off-season and it was quiet. On our lazy morning, we wished the breakfast room had stayed open later! There was a rattle in the piece of furniture that the TV sat on and we discovered it was the cupboard door. We stuffed a couple of tissues in the door and that solved the problem.

We were overall pleasently surprised by the quality of stay we had at the Quality Inn in Kanab. The room was nice, beds were comfy, everything was clean and the check-in was seamless (albeit not super friendly). Can't beat the price!

The only couple of issues we had were that the flooring in our bathroom was buckled and coming up, the towel rack was hanging off the wall with the screw protruding and in the pool area, the handrail into the pool was the same, completely broken and unsafe. We were dissappointed to see that they have filled in a spa in the pool area, which would have been a nice spot to enjoy the sunset sky. At breakfast, I came downstairs just about 2 minutes after they closed up at 9:30 (normal time is typically 10) and was met with a not too happy kitchen staffer who didn't take kindly to me asking if I could just grab a single thing to go while the food was still out. Not a big deal, just not great customer service.

Plenty of satellite channels to choose from, Room was at end of hall away from the lobby. Room was on the west side of the hotel and A/C was on "hot" when it should have been on "cool" given it was 90 degrees outside. We did leave before breakfast because we had a long drive home, but the lobby person did pass along our request for a "go" bag of snacks which we appreciated. Check out was quick and once we hit the buzzer, the clerk popped right out with no hassle that we often find at other hotels. This was our second time staying at this property, even though it is on the edge of town, but there is a great gas station next door with 10 kinds of coffee always ready.

Check that the A/C is not on "heat" when it is 90 degrees outside.

Breakfast was good--eggs, sausage and the usual hotel breakfast. Wonderful view from our room. Ask for back of hotel on the left side! Red cliffs in the morning. Right next to the visitor center that has a good film and geology exhibit. Next to that is a great Wendy's/7 eleven and gas station. This hotel is on Hwy 89 the main road that takes you to Zion and Bryce Canyon. Beautiful area. Nice small town.

The proximity to various hiking options, spacious room, decent price-value ratio. We managed to get a more quiet room, further away from the traffic of the highway.

The breakfast could have entailed more choices, the building structure needs some fixing (doors are not fitting fully and there were some signs of structure movement of the building). Some neighbours were really loud at 5 am in the morning and some late into tge night.

The value of this hotel is actually very good. The stay is pleasant and the comfort you get for the price is amazing. Breakfast is also included and its pretty decent. Rooms are pretty clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Room had a fridge and a microwave which was excellent. Also nice to be able to do laundry (paid) at the location

Wifi was a bit slow during our stay. Frontdesk staff said it might have something to do with the weather as their office wifi was slow as well.

The name of the hotel says everything: quality. Everything was great: location close to Zion, Bryce, Pink Coral Dunes, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, comfortable and sparkling clean room with daily housekeeping, breakfast with various foods and drinks and finally the friendly stuff. And not to forget - the value.

There was one thing that I need to mention. I don't recall seeing the "quite hours" sign in the hotel and there it was: around midnight noisy partygoers returning to the hotel. I am aware that this is not a hotel fault just the people who don't care about others.

Our room was amazing. We got a king bed with a large amount of space. We were so excited to find out our room had a jacuzzi (which we weren’t expecting at all) it was so nice and clean we loved it. We also had a huge window with an amazing view of the mountains and the adorable cabins next door. We even wished we could of stayed another night but our journey had to continue. It was a lovely stay.

We chose the Quality Inn because of the included breakfast. We were not disappointed. The breakfast was generous, the room large and clean, the location quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. Great value for money and close to Bryce and Zion National Parks. We would book again.
