Comfort Inn Downtown Salt Lake City

I liked that the breakfast (6am to 11am) was included with the room. I enjoyed the waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast with juice. It was also good that offered instant oatmeal 24/7 (my companion had to leave before 6am). They had elevators for the 2nd floor which was convenient. The staff was courteous and professional. It is in a very convenient location with respect to the SLC airport.

The parking is a bit tight. I had to park around the corner and then bring my car up later to load my luggage.

No air conditioning. Staff placed 2 fans to try to offset, didn't help much. Would have enjoyed selection of melons.

Other visitors too loud at night slamming doors to 2 am. Maybe visitors with children who run in hallways and loud in one side of the hotel and business visitors on the other. Need to shampoo the carpets in the elevators. Visitators need to be aware of homeless/unhoused persons throughout the city.

It’s a really nice stay it has a really nice bed Very nice air-conditioning it’s a really comfortable place I’m very impressed and I very much enjoyed the breakfast in the morning Plus the front desk staff was very kind a very cordial woman from Ghana Who I told her She reminded me of an actress that’s on the CBS TV Show Bob Hearts Abisholah as that character actress is from Nigeria (in the show too ) and she was very courteous so Yes it’s was a very welcome stay

Only thing I would say To mention is the faucet in the tub /shower maybe needs to be addressed in 234 In the DT SLC 500 S location and probably serviced as I think the handle turn knob was loose and wasn’t really adjusting the temperature of the water so easily Otherwise Great place to stay

I love the location! the hotel easily accessible - from both the old town, the surrounding hills & shopping centers. Stuff at reception are very welcoming and the room is clean & comfortable. As a vegan, I loved the adjacent Whole Foods Market! Together with parking (which is plentiful and included) - it is good value for the location. Overall - the place just had a really good feel !

Breakfast could have been more varied and possibly include fresh vegetables (I know, I know - it is the US...)

Soap from previous guest was left in the shower. The neighborhood is a bit iffy if you walk to Temple square. The directions in booking.com are WRONG, making it difficult to find at first. PLEASE correct this as the hotel is not hard to find if you know where it is.

I like that this property was close to my location where I was going to. I was working at the Sundance Festival and it was seven minutes away. I also got it for a good price for about a week. The bathroom is also clean. Usually when I get bargain places like this, that’s the one thing that I have trouble with but I was very satisfied with this one.

The location was perfect! It was within walking distance of the venue we were going to. Plenty of food options were nearby also. We missed breakfast but we were out late. The chevron next door had fresh donuts so that was nice :)

The coffee maker made yucky coffee. As for the location itself, only downside was no pool area. The hotel was a little hidden from view when trying to find it when driving.

Good location near the train stop spacious room, comfortable bed quiet at night even though my room was at ground floor facing the main Street

some people were talking without wearing the masks right at the breakfast food counter. I suggested to the hotel that they should put the sign because some people have no awareness, no manner and no compassion. I don’t want to get someone else’s droplets on the food.

Served limited breakfast due to covid/renovations which was fine. Location was ideal and accessible to the highways and downtown/Park City. The room was pretty standard and the beds were a lot more comfortable than expected.

There were renovations going on while we stayed here but they were never loud/disturbed our sleep. So not much to say that I disliked about staying here/

Location and price

You were using single use plastic staff for the breakfast. Nowadays, the single use of plastic fork, knifes and others things is prohibited. Please use tableware for the future.
