The building is so cool, it is in a part of town where people are converting industrial buildings into hotels, stores, restaurants. The room was small but we didn't need a big room as we just needed a place to sleep and shower. You get a voucher for the rock wall and yoga. The bar looked very fun but we didn't end up getting a drink there but did go in to get ice as there is not ice machine so the nice staff directed us to the bar for ice.

There is not a lot to not like, but there are not windows to the outside in some of the rooms. There is a window above the door into the hallway which is odd but it did help the room not to feel so claustrophobic. There is not a refrigerator in the room so if that is a must for you bring a cooler or something to keep things cold.

This is probably the coolest hotel we've ever stayed in, and we travel a lot! The room was clean and we really appreciated the cleanliness of the concrete floors. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Although we didn't use the balcony because it rained while we were there, it was big and had views of the mountains. All the indoor activities would be awesome for those who partake in such things (skateboarding, wall climbing, and yoga). The staff was friendly and we really enjoyed Greg, the hotel dog that greeted us. We will definitely stay here again whenever we are in SLC

Not a deal breaker, but hangers in the room would have been nice.

Amenities (except the men's sauna was broken for repair)! Clean facilities/room and staffs were friendly and very accommodating. I loved tjhe ambience, interior design (industrial, suitable for the weather/location), parking was available at ease, smooth check-in/out process. The staff even upgraded our room once we got into our originally assigned room that had no lighting/TV working.

The rooms can get cold, I understand it is an old building that's renovated. But when I turn on the heater, it doesn't go above 78 degree, and the floor is cold when on barefoot. It's Utahn winter and I should have brought my own slippers and thicker pajamas.

You will definitely feel the youthful vibe in this hotel the moment you walk in. It's located in a mixed-use building with things to do like wall climbing, bike riding, or just sitting in the hallway being a hip digital nomad. I definitely like the concept of turning a formerly industrial edifice into something quite intriguing.

My windowless room was under rafters and beams and had a sort of triangular configuration, and so I could not stand upright in certain parts. It felt like a chic monastery or a dolled up inn of old. The hotel is in a rather sketchy area, though I imagine this area will be a prime spot in a few years.

Very unique property with unique amenities on site. Comfy room, friendly staff. Easy parking on the not-busy street. The area this hotel is in looks to be undergoing some redevelopment which means its a bit rough around the edges but also close to a lot of cool restaurants, breweries, etc. Room came with a pass to go rock climbing and for a discount in the retail store.

The lighting in the room needed a bit more thought... The only light options were two very dim reading lamps by the bed and one extremely bright overhead light, which meant you had two options: sit in near complete darkness or BRIGHT AS DAY. No in-between. This could easily be fixed with a dimmer switch on the main light or a few more lamps in the corners.

The rustic industrial interesting decor and background music. If you are active outdoorsy person, the rock climbing walls, weight room and neighboring skate park is nice. Nooks with couches and chairs to read were a nice touch.

Two double beds instead of one queen so we had to sleep separately. No fridge or coffee pot. Geared towards sporty active 20-30 somethings. A little too rustic for comfort.

The hotel is very unusual, a mix of an old industrial hall and a modern, very successful hotel with an integrated bicycle shop and fitness center with a climbing wall. on the whole very nice and well implemented and designed everything fits together everything is well made and makes a solid impression. beautiful rooms very comfortable with beds and a successful large bathroom with a nice shower

no storage space in the bathroom and not really a table with an office chair to work in the room. Unfortunately, the area around the hotel doesn't look nice, it's an industrial area at the moment, which is not well maintained

Great concept. And perfect for my son who wanted to do some rock climbing. We lucked out being able to rent crash pads at the location.

We stayed twice. The first time was superb. Unfortunately, no windows which didn't really bother us since we were exhausted from travel. However, the 2nd time (flying out) the room smelled of dog. And didn't seem to be aired out. Not sure how to do that when the rooms are sealed.

The beds were very comfortable. The atmosphere was nice. I didn’t know it was a hostel style hotel but it was pleasant and fun with the climbing walls. The location said temple square and it was far from there.

I think the description could be more clear about what and where they were located. The area is improving but there are still a lot of homeless people in the area.

this was the coolest hotel with the rock wall and just the overall aesthetic. my teenagers really loved it. the beds were comfortable, and it was a great value for being so close to downtown.

the room was like a cave and had no exterior windows. it was hard to tell when it was daylight. also, the ice supply was questionable as the only ice in the whole place was from the coffee bar and the ice machine broke on our last night there. just some bugs to be worked out.
