TownePlace Suites by Marriott Front Royal

Cannot say enough about how awesome the staff was. Rooms were beautiful, common areas were too. Great location. Probably the nicest stay in Front Royal.

As beautiful as the room was, I'd like to have a chat with whoever designed my rooms layout. The bathroom door opening right into the bed was not a preferred location - especially since the exhaust fan was fairly silent. Some yoga poses were required to reach the toilet paper practically behind the toilet. Also, the TV was mounted in an odd location so that the bathroom door frame stopped it from turning completely. Little things like that were odd, but I'd still stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location was very convenient to Shenandoah National Park (north entrance, about 3 miles) and the breakfast, while quite basic and typical of a motel, was nicely presented. Our bedroom and the common areas were immaculately clean, and the kitchen facilities were great (apparently brand new in Fall 2020).

The property was exactly as advertised. A great place to stray if you'll be out all day and want a clean and safe place to eat and sleep at night. Otherwise, it was a basic suites motel with little to do in-house during the day.

Quite pleased with our stay here. Booked a king suite room and it was extremely clean and comfortable. If I could take the bed home with me I would! The decor is modern and contemporary. Great little kitchenette. Minimal sound from other rooms. Staff was friendly. The hotel is positively located near multiple restaurants and shops. Without hesitation I would stay here again.

We were there for a wedding and our family lives in Front Royal. The hotel is very lovely. In a great location. Have stayed at that location and would return again.

We had no parking place on Friday oct 9th. The parking lot was filled to the max . Had to park our leisure van in the street. We were very upset. Thankfully it did not get damaged. We stayed 4 nights and a parking spot was available the following nights.

The location and how spacious it was. Breakfast was great! The staff was super friendly. Easy check in. It was perfect!

The low water pressure in the shower but it was ok. No problem.

Everything but the water issue. I know we will be back come the next snow/ice as we live on a mountain

We had an issue with hot water. We ended up taking cold showers,the water never started to get warm till we were almost done with showers. Not sure if it was a hot water heater issue or the fact we were on the top floor.

The rooms were nice and clean, easy to park, staff was friendly and all were wearing masks. I liked the appointments in the room and the bathroom was nice. I didn’t really see the atrium area much but it looked nice too.

Overall it was great, but I wish there had been a couple of more food options. I had microwave lasagna that was pretty good though so can’t complain too much. :)

Room was large and had a full sized refrigerator which was nice. Kitchenette would have been great also, has we been spending more that one night. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Not enough parking. The hotel was very crowded, I had to park in the charging station space.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped us find a church for Easter services!

The water pressure was low.

The entire staff was super friendly, from front check in counter to the nice gentleman who took care of the dining area for breakfast. Noteworthy was Mr. Michael on night shift! Super friendly, professional and informative on local sites and things to do for my family. Many thanks!
