I requested one room for my nephew, staying with us for two nights and a reservation made for ONE room, TWO nights, at the COMFORT INN AND SUITES, ON NEFF AVE., HARRISONBURG,VA. A mistake has been made! instead of TWO NIGHTS, I was booked for TWO ROOMS. This needs to be corrected and the $150.56 needs to be returned to my credit card-- DISCOVER CARD, for overpayment for an extra room. The Mgr. @ the hotel said that this must be corrected by you, the hotel cannot do that. This mistake must be corrected immediately. If I am overcharged I will not deal with BOOKING.COM, or this hotel again. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The DISCOVER CARD is in the name of DONALD R. TRIPP. The hotel has the booking information and the receipt. The guest was ARTHUR AKERS SWAYZE.The dates of the bookings were August 9 & August 10, 2023. Please correct this important matter,immediately. Breakfast was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised by that. Bacon was cooked perfectly! Ice machines on 1st & 3rd floors were easily accessible, flowed nicely and seemed full every time I used them. Staff was always friendly and courteous from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Our room & the bathroom both were spacious, the beds were comfy and I was happy they had a fridge for my insulin and our leftovers. The hotel was very tidy, clean and decorated festively for Valentine’s Day with cute pillows and such. Loved that check out wasn’t until 11:00. BONUS: GREAT location, right across from ‘my’ happy place…Costco! 😂

The facility was very impressive nicely decorated for the holidays staff was very helpful and polite I enjoyed the facility very much very impressed we'll definitely stay there again and definitely refer people to stay there in the future thanks so much for keeping a clean, safe,stylish and up-to-date facility.

The prices of the food items would be the only thing I would say that could be better they were rather expensive and yes in the economy that we're in right now I understand things are scarce and are costing more but I feel that they were priced out of the range of affordability.

The facility was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good, with the exception of being limited due to the large number of guests getting an earlier start. There was a little more than an hour left with the sausage gravy and waffle batter being empty. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

The breakfast was very nice. Honestly, I was looking forward to Danish. All hotels serve those little Danish with the jelly fruit in the middle, but I had a blueberry muffin instead. The French toast was excellent, and I liked that your bananas weren't overripe. The breakfast attendant was the most delightful man and very helpful, professional and courteous. He was hustling constantly to keep the food trays full. Excellent job to him!

Honestly, everything was very nice. It would have been nice to have a shower cap in the bathroom. It wasn't worth it to go all the way down to the lobby for that. And just was looking forward to those little Danish for breakfast.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites for my son's graduation from JMU and it was perfect. I have stayed at Comfort Inn before and have always liked it but now it is under new management, is in a brand new (1 year old) building and is even better. The staff was friendly, the lobby was inviting and had a nice lounge area (and was decked out in purple and yellow for the graduation), the guest rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the location was great (very close to east campus). There is also a small gym on the first floor (which we did not use because we were busy with other activities). I don't know when I will be back down to Harrisonburg but will want to stay here again if/when I do.

The breakfast is adequate but nothing special. However considering that there were plenty of offerings - juice, cereal, muffins, bagels, waffles, eggs, bacon, coffee - and that the food area was kept clean and well stocked and breakfast was included in the price of the room I really have no complaints about it.

Location is absolutely perfect!! Literally right in the middle of everything with just minutes to downtown and JMU! Great spot!! Breakfast is a great touch and the staff are literally so nice and understanding about everything!

Mild odor upon walking into the room. Drain didn’t thoroughly drain in the shower and there was just a little bit of pet hair on the comforter. Nothing major by any means. Just something I noticed.

Location was good. Easy to find and park. Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfy.

Ice maker on my floor was either out or didn't work. :( The breakfast I felt could be improved. The food seemed like it had been sitting a bit and could have been replenished with fresh. The area it's in is cramped, maybe move the popular waffle station out of the main food area where a queue wouldn't block the rest of the food offerings.

the friendly staff - and beautiful entrance hall , thoughtfully decorated with James Madison colored tulip arrangement , and cushions with rabbits signifying Spring ! Room was clean and fresh, breakfast bar was well stocked - and clean - very comfortable ! wifi worked really well which is so important- love the fact that recycling bin in room too and a proper wardrobe ! large TV for those who watch movies in bed !

i wish the curtains would close - they are just for decoration- good job i had my eye mask- also no magnifying mirror in bathroom - and no china mugs - brought my own !

The breakfast exceeded my expectations since most of previous stays at other locations within this hotel chain have been substandard at best to be described and very disappointing

The room size could have been a bit larger. However, this facility was clean, equipped with sufficient courtesy staff and a very nice hot breakfast with a variety of menu choices .
