Quality Inn Verona - Staunton North

Location is great, pet friendly with large area adjacent for them . Great breakfast, clean comfortable room. We have stayed here before.

The room they gave us this time was only 1 left, it was for handicapped- the shower was handicap accessible but the water ran out all over the bathroom & into adjacent area- this is a major problem and an accident waiting to happen. Outside the room the upper floors air conditioning condensation drips down and makes a big puddle in front of the exit from the room- this is also a slip & fall hazard.

The beds were super comfy, the room was quiet (2nd floor so no one over our heads), and the check in person was very friendly. He was very friendly and accommodating and gave us a 2nd floor room (room 204) facing away from the freeway when we asked for a quiet room.

The hot water boiler was broken the day we arrived so showers were lukewarm (it seemes to have been fixed by the next evening). The website said laundry, but apparently the machines were also broken. The door jamb on room 204 appeared to have been broken (maybe kicked in at some point?) and was taped on with duct tape. It was hard to get to latch and probably was not hard to kick in again. We forgot to tell management, but since someone had put a lot of duct tape on, we assume they knew (?) We didn't leave anything of value when we went out, and pulled extra hard to get the door to latch when we went out. For approx $150/night w taxes and fees (Fri and Sat night in mid Oct), it didn't feel like a great deal.

Breakfast was grate, a 10 for a hotel. Room was comfortable and clean with a nice soft chair for watching TV an office desk chair and work space. The staff was very friendly and hard at work all the time. It was obvious the property was well maintained and the maintenance men was hard at work with several projects going on at once. His attention to details was apparent. This place was so nice we changed our plans on our return trip to stay there again.

The breakfast was great. Service was great and the cleaners very friendly.

Rooms are a little crowded for a family if 4. Instead of a rolling chair at the table have 2 regular chairs so you can sit down and eat and not eat on the bed. Clean carpets more often(shampoo) it felt sticky.. Would be nice to have a small playground for kids.

Great location and the staff was excellent. For the star level this hotel is, it was much better than expected. Well maintained property. This was a “shot I. The dark”, and was very pleased with the results.

Not a major issue but maybe a lil bit more care taken in room deodorizer prior to new customer Eta. Like I say, wasn’t “real bad” but maybe just a lil more care into it.

The beds were comfortable, 3 pillows to a bed and they were nice pillows. Down comforter for the beds. Rooms were clean. I didn't know the room had a kitchenette with a sink, nice size fridge and a 2 burner cook top. Plus shelves for storing food. Would make a great place to stay long term. Easy access off of I81 and nice price, friendly staff. Close to gas stations and fast food places.

We were surprised by the breakfast variety. We got upgraded for free, which was very much appreciated. Nice large room, king-size bed with a little sitting area. There is a large grassy area, ideal to take your dog uit. Our little dog Bella found it a comfortable stay. Also, next door, is The Antique Factory, the largest indoor antique Bazar we've ever seen

Very clean room. Very good price. Small town but very close to everything. I would highly recommend this motel.

The only one thing I could find fault with was the toilet was very small. But for everything else, it was exceptionally clean and nice.

Both of the individuals I spoke to at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were more comfortable than I was expecting - actually more comfortable than the expensive Massanutten Resort we spend most of our trip visiting. Breakfast was good and had a variety of food, enough to satisfy even my picky children :) a great value add!

I don't really have anything negative to say other than the pool was out of service the night we stayed. However, it was because they were putting in new concrete/pavers around the pool, which will look very nice once completed.

The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, air conditioning cold, and a nice large tv. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. It was right off the highway for easy travel. We would definitely stay here again. It was a very pleasant experience.

The room was a little bit small but fine for 2 adults. We were just traveling through, only staying 1 night. The air conditioner was a little loud. It sticks out into the room as opposed to more on the sidewalk outside. It did work well. Neither of these negatives would keep us from staying again.
