Ramada by Wyndham Harrisonburg

The staff blew my mind at how awesome they were! Never had service like this before and I have traveled the entire globe.

I was VERY satisfied! It threw me off when their office was closed for breakfast but when I saw the sign that said, "for help, go to the partner hotel next door" it made SO much sense! They were just as happy and polite and professional. Made me smile at 6am. I will recommend and stay agin for sure! They beat all other local hotel prices significantly!

The woman at the front desk was as kind as could be. She called in advance to introduce herself/hotel, verified our stay, and asked for an approximate check in time. When we arrived she personally checked us into our room and made sure that we were satisfied with our accommodations. The pool was open as advertised, it was a very good size, and the hours were 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The breakfast area was the room next to the check in desk and the hours were 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The value for the room was very good. We had an updated room, it was comfortable, clean and we were able to park right outside our door. We like the fact that our room did not have carpet. We had neighbors on both sides of us, yet it was very quiet. Breakfast was available at their sister motel right next door. The room had a large smart TV, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker.

The room had been recently updated and was very clean. Overall nice place for a quick overnight stay on a long 2-day road trip. I liked that there was not carpet in the room - easier to keep it clean.

The beds could have been more comfortable and the bathroom door did not close all the way well, the hinges just needed to be repaired.

The location was convenient to the interstate and restaurants.

I was expecting a better room experience given this is a Ramada. The unit (202) was clean but in need of maintenance. Faucets are very loose, the shower curtain bar is sagging so the curtain slips open which leads to a wet floor, and the bed made a metallic clanking sound.

I liked the fact that I was able to enjoy cable TV, use of WI-Fi, microwave, and refrigerator. All the appliances and the air conditioner worked very well and I was able to have warm nice showers. I liked that I was able to park my car near to my room and that outside noise was non-existent. I appreciated the wide variety of items offered for breakfast and the fact that there was no monitoring of how much we could have. I got very good value for the money I spent. Thank you!

I had hoped breakfast would have included eggs, bacon, and toasts. Nevertheless, I enjoyed what was served.

Very clean. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable bed. Adequate breakfast. I thought a hotel in this class would be unclean. I've stayed in places like that but I needed something only for one night so I booked anyway. But I was pleasantly surprised. Had a good night's sleep.

Nothing.

I traveled with 2 cats. Other hotels only made us sign a damage waiver in case cats damaged furniture. This hotel charged 20 per animal which increased the cost of the room by 40 percent! I thought that was excessive. Also, free breakfast was skimpy. Most hotels put out a better, more varied breakfast at the 100 dollar a night price point.

Check in/out was quicks process, the rooms were a generous size. Plenty of parking for either side of the hotel. We kept our “do not disturb” sign up, but housekeeping did ask if we would like any more towels (we were already given plenty). The location was right near everything.

The only thing I would change would there to be a larger y variety for the breakfast.

The room was comfortable and large. The pool was great, and the breakfast was good, but there were no eggs (for us, it was not a problem). The room had new furniture. Staff were nice.

The bath drained very slowly, so the bath got filled when we showered.
