The balcony was an added touch we did not expect. Instant hot water when you turned on the faucet. Loved the shower. Clean fluffy towels. The air conditioning actually cooled down to where it was set.
the room could have been vacuumed a bit better. Had to ask for sheets and blankets for the pull-out bed. Was only given two fitted sheets for the pull-out bed, but not a big deal, we made do. The pool was closed for maintenance which upset the kiddos.

Went to a JMU graduation and Hotel was in good location. The room was good and the staff were helpful.
we reserved a room with 2 queens and were told they were all gone. But the person on the desk talked to the room folks and found one. So in the end it worked out.

I liked that the property was in a convenient location. they offered a bistro and snacks. Also the staff was very friendly.
I did not like that booking.com did not make me aware the pool was out of service. Also i had to switch rooms because the first room had ants.

Loved the location. The woman at the front desk, I was in such a hurry I didn't catch her name, was amazing. Very helpful, friendly and polite. The bed was very comfortable. My standards of cleanliness are a bit extreme and they definitely met that. All in all just a great place and we will definitely stay again when in the area.
It wasn't an issue for us but the bedroom TV didn't work. There was a note saying so when we got in the room, but like I said not an issue for us. It was late, we watched a little TV in the living room area and went to bed.

Excellent location & walkable to restaurants. Comfortable bed & nice shower.
Only one chair on the balcony. Air conditioner did not cool very well. The bar/restaurant was not open in the evenings even though the hotel was sold out—they missed out on a lot of business!

Location and price were what I wanted. The room was clean. If you stay away from the elevators and the 2nd floor it’s quiet. The 2nd floor at the elevators is open to the lobby.
