Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Herndon Reston

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The location was perfect for what I needed with lots of available food options nearby. (I would highly recommend Nunu's Thai Dishes nearby!!) My room was also perfect for what I needed as I had a training a few miles down the road. The room and bed was super comfortable after a long day of training outside in cold weather. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options and the attendant was consistently checking when things were running out and stocking accordingly. I was pleased to see various milk options to use with your coffee and cereal. Speaking of coffee, the coffee was delicious and fresh each morning! I also liked that breakfast options were slightly different each day I stayed. If I am in the area again I will gladly stay here again!

Everything was very clean. Quiet even when we came in late at night after a concert. The shower had full-size body wash, shampoo & conditioner, & they smelled great! Good variety for free breakfast, and they constantly kept it stocked.The price was perfect as well. Staff was super friendly.

Would've loved more pillows. Each bed only had 3 instead of 4, and it was so late when we got in from our concert that I just didn't have the energy to track anyone down to ask for more. Didn't sleep great because of it. But that is the ONLY complaint.

The room was very clean and comfortable overall. The breakfast selection was fantastic because it included a hot selection. The coffee was absolutely perfect. It was probably the best I had ever had during a hotel stay. The staff was very friendly.

There was a a polo tournament in the area and the hotel was full of children making a lot of noise. The sink was located outside the bathroom. This may be more practical so that one person could brush their teeth while another takes a shower. However, I prefer having them both together. The water took a long time to warm up in the shower.

The location was quiet, the room clean and well located and the breakfast plentiful.

Even though I had booked two rooms at the same time for two couples, we were assigned rooms at opposite ends of the floor. The rooms were smaller, noisy and different from the pictures on the website. After complaining, they changed my room to one that was up to the standards I know of from Fairfield. This ruined my stay a bit. Air conditioner was unusually noisy

Breakfast was all right, hoped for a bit better/more, but was still fine. Room was comfortable. The front desk staff was above and beyond kind and helpful.

The hot water didn’t work during our stay. This was of course frustrating/disappointing. But the front desk staff did try to help and accommodate us, we just didn’t love going to a different room to shower. Didn’t love that housekeeping was only every other day.

The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I liked the location had easy access to stores. The staff did allow me to check in early.

The breakfast food was below average. The food needed more seasoning. It was very underwhelming. I was there for 2 nights and they never cleaned my room, took out trash, or refreshed the towels.

We stayed Thursday through Sunday. Room was not cleaned and made up on Saturday. Was told since Covid, was only done every other day. Staff did supply new towels upon request but I find this every other day not acceptable.

Pleasant and helpful staff. I appreciated they had oatmeal and soy milk available for breakfast.Comfortable bed.Modern bathroom. Strong wifi.Printer and computer in lobby. Across street are 4 separate grocery stores including a few Natural ones.

No shuttle to airport. I ended up paying $40.00 each way .Plus tip =$100.

Rather far from Washington, if that is your main destination. Nothing else to add really. It is a good place to stay for a few days.

Biggest plus was definitely the value based on the location of the property. Overall the room is a little smaller than expected but it did meet my needs since I spent most of my time outside of my room. The breakfast was basic but I did appreciate the juice and availability of bagels, toaster, and condiments. Overall, 100% worth the value for the stay. I would say it generally exceeded expectations.

Only thing I would improve is housekeeping did not come during my stay although it could have also been my sleep schedule of waking up at 8 am. Maybe they tried earlier but they did not seem to come back. Nothing I really needed or missed during my stay but something I would have expected.
