Hilton Washington Dulles Airport

The hotel was attractive in the lobby. The rooms were basic but clean.

We checked in as a family of 4 but received towels and breakfast vouchers for 3. We ended up paying for an extra breakfast. The breakfast buffet was really good, but I had emailed ahead for GF alternative foods and they didn't have any. Luckily there was naturally non gluten foods available.

Great location from Dulles airport, our room was quite large albeit oddly layed out. Bed was comfortable. USB charging outlets on the desk and one side of the bed. The downstairs bar/restaurant is a decent place to hang out and eat, although I'm surprised there isn't a larger more proper "restaurant" although maybe there was and we just didn't find it.

No fridge in the room, and from what i hear most or none of the rooms have a fridge. This is a good higher end hotel that is completely serviceable, but it is showing it's age. When you realize the faucet hardware in the bathroom is literally identical to what you had in your house 25 years ago then you know it's time for an update. The overall vibe was definitely very 1995. Because you are in the middle of nowhere you pretty much will be eating at the hotel (not terrible but nice to have some choice) or getting an Uber somewhere.

Location and free garage parking. Nice room.

Booking.com indicated free breakfast with registration, but that was false.

We spent a quick night at the hotel before flying off to Thailand. The location was easy to find and the free shuttle took us to the airport at 4:40 am. Despite the brevity of our stay, we enjoyed our evening very much due to the lovely facility, delicious dinner, and reasonable price. It was a great start to our vacstion!

I caught the shuttle from IAD. The driver was very professional and helpful with my extremely large and heavy bag. I can't remember his name, but he's from Pakistan. He made the ride enjoyable and pleasant to chat with; especially after a long day at the airport. Checking in was fast and easy. I wish checking into my airline was this easy. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a wonderful Cosmo and ordered dinner (to go). The bartender that night was also amazing and attentive. Everyone was polite, extremely helpful, and patient with an irritated traveler. It was so natural, that i feel such kindness went well beyond corporate training and was just part of their wonderful personality. I will definately book and stay again if I'm in the area. Thank you and grazie from Italy.

The room was somehow really cheap but the hotel was obviously great with big fancy bathrooms etc. It was really near the airport so that was also a plus. They also had a shuttle service to the airport.

I wanted breakfast but they somehow weren't doing them..? Even though the place was near the airport, it was kind of in the middle of nowhere so if you don't have a car and want to go somewhere other than the airport, that might be hard.

The free shuttle to the airport and the outdoor lounge. The pool is quite big and hot. The fitness center is very nice. There is also a free printer. The suite was very big and nice.

The pool was quite dirty (hair and strange white stuff in the water) and the hotel is very cold (except the room because we can choose the temperature). I had a suite and the bathroom was quite strange. A very long and big closet takes all the space and there is a tiny bathtub/ shower at the end. They could have cut by half the closet and put a bigger shower.

The hotel is in a great location for walking DC, the National Mall wasn’t far, and the surrounding neighborhood appeared to be safe for walking. There were also a few CVS stores near by for groceries or forgotten toiletries. The rooms were large and clean, comfortable. Staff was great.

The girl running the cafe area didn’t seem to have much personality, she took your order and completed it, just not overly friendly and it appeared we were bothering her by ordering food.

The bed was comfortable, down comforter and pillows - LOVE. Modern bathroom, very clean and nice toiletries. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I had the buttermilk pancakes and my mom had a cheese omelet. The employees I encountered were helpful, hard working and polite.

Ice machine on the 2nd floor would not give me ice. This happens at other hotels also... so it may have been that it just couldn't keep up with guest demand. I was able to get it from a different floor, no problem.

The room was in an excellent location. I love the gift shop and the breakfast was very good. The staff over the phone was excellent.

The lighting in the room was a little dark during the day. I thought each room should have at least two bottles of water. This was minor in comparison to our overall stay.
