Best Western Lexington Inn

Breakfast was excellent, pet friendly with a $25 deposit, decent price, friendly staff. Liked the microwave and refrigerator and Wi-Fi worked.

Noisy outside, trucks make noise near the doors, doors to the room were too loud and walls were thin so we could hear everything. Parking was not as close as I would have liked and one of the lights didn’t work. Toilet was slow and difficult to flush.

The location is excellent, close to everything. The Applebees and Dairy Queen are across the parking lot. It is about 1.1 miles to VMI and downtown. They have a doggies station. The hallway is clean.

Breakfast is good, but it could be better with bacon and sausages instead of scrambled eggs. Scrambled eggs are kind of runny. If we could have more choices of tea, instead of one choice.

We stayed here for three nights while attending an event. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, the staff was helpful. The breakfast on the first day was ordinary but the next two days the breakfast had more options and was very good.

OK, plenty of choices, nice window views. All was clean and attractive.

Can you put something on the bottom of the chairs to keep them from scraping so loudly? And in the room, could you turn on the refrigerator a couple of hours before we get there?

I don't remember the ladies' name that was on the front desk the night we stayed, but she was great! She went above and beyond. We had a possessed microwave that wouldn't 'turn off, even with it's door open and she helped me get it unplugged and out of the room. Craziest thing I have seen in a while, but she was gracious, helpful and do her best to make it better for us. THANK YOU!!!!

This hotel was great. I booked the room literally 15 minutes before checking in since I was on a road trip and unsure where I'd be each night. They're following COVID guidelines to a T, which was a relief. The front desk attendant was friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of signage at the desk about the breakfast and checkout options. My room was exactly as expected, bed comfy, curtains fully close-able/blackout, and everything was comfortingly clean. It's close to several gas station and late-night fast food options. Couldn't hear any neighbors. Had a great night's sleep!

Totally nitpicking here and these wouldn't sway me from staying again: The TV was weirdly dim and I couldn't figure out how to brighten it. One of the doors for the vending machine/ice room had a faulty key card lock. The second door worked, but I definitely had an "oh sh**" moment when that door closed behind me and I thought there was a chance I'd be locked in without my phone. I wasn't. It was fine LOL.

Easy to find location, considering there's a few Best Westerns around the area that we could have stayed at or showed up to accidentally. Got there a little bit before my check in time but was quickly accommodated.

Wasn't to happy about the breakfast options available in the morning. I know not much could be done with all of the precautions surrounding Covid-19 and all. Not really a complaint, just thought I'd say something and hit the word count.

The breakfast was great! Lots of choices and staff very pleasant! Rooms were very nice. Parent's room had walk in shower as requested. Great that it was pet friendly!

The staff was pleasant upon check-in and check-out. The building appears to be old, but we'll-maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a very nice, fresh smell. The linen was clean and soft (not hard or scratchy). The location was perfect! It's right off I-64. There's an Applebee's next door, as well as a Dairy Queen. There's also a Ruby Tuesday and Walmart Superstore on the other side of the highway.
