Red Roof Inn Madison Heights, VA

There was no breakfast that I saw - only coffee, which was fine. The staff was outstanding - very friendly and accommodating. The facility seemed clean (my room did have a fairly strong smell of bleach when I arrived.) The bed seemed clean and was relatively comfortable. The pet policy is fantastic and probably the biggest plus of the property.

The facility is nice and clean, but is in need of updates and repairs. It seems that the staff does the best they can with the facilities they have. There were lovely flowers and a cute garden in certain places, but right by a cemented-over, abandoned pool with demolition debris strewn all over it. There were several patio areas on the backside of the property that had old furniture stacked and stored, which wasn't very attractive... The interior, again, seemed clean but really needed an overhaul - new carpet, paint, and fixtures.

The staff was excellent! Great customer service and very friendly people. Angel at the front desk is awesome!

The trash cans outside the doors attracted flies so we didn't like having to walk through flies every time we go in and out the doors.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay at your facility. When we arrived, there appeared to be no guests on-site, judging from the lack of cars. More guests did arrive later. We were greeted by a very pleasant staff member, who checked us in quickly and provided the necessary details. Walking to our room, however, there were two guest rooms with the doors open and apparent guests lounging on the beds. Just thought it was a bit strange. We moved our gear to the room, and departed for dinner. Upon our arrival, we were again greeted warmly, and we went to our room for bed. No more open doors. We fell asleep quickly, and had no issues through the night.

The view of an out of service pool, an apparently trashed handicapped device, and a some bricks strewn about were not appealing. Further, the apparent lack of a lock on the room window was a bit disconcerting when we discovered it before checking out the next day.

The desk clerk was awesome. Easily moved me to a near by room where the WiFi was working.

Hallways and stairways need new carpeting and walls in those are were damaged. Some from water damage and ware and tare. Ice machine was not working on second floor. The Rooms looked newly remodeled. But the bathroom fan needs to be on a separate switch from the bathroom light. The fan noise was very loud and annoying.

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. It felt like I was staying in a high end hotel with how professionally prepped everything was in the room - beds were very neatly made, bathroom was spotless, a little note from the cleaning staff was left so I would know who serviced my room. The front desk staff also welcomed me to call anytime I needed anything and I was checked in rather quickly. It was a nice feel and I would definitely stay again.

By and large I didn't have anything that I didn't like outright. I don't know if there was breakfast served, but if there was it would be nice to have information on where it's being served. Otherwise, all was well.

The front desk people- John, Kelsey, Brittney and Francis! They let me use their employee freezer for huge ice packs that I need for a medical condition. This hotel is a good value without sacrificing comfort! It’s updated with cheaper materials, but has a new feeling and is exceptionally clean. We stayed here while attending our daughters graduation at Liberty which wasn’t too far away. Walmart, a nice Mexican and Japanese restaurant nearby that we liked.

Very clean, accommodating staff, and the price was excellent. I will come back! This was a great find! Close to the town across the river with lots of fun and tasty dining and it’s very close to places for a quick bite. The location is superb. And again, this place was very clean.

This was beyond the staff’s control. I think people take advantage of a good deal and others abuse it. One guest allowed for their dog to bark late into the night after 1am. This facility is kept very nice and as much as I love that they don’t charge for pets, I think it adds accountability for guests to b responsible for the pets. I suggest adding a fee per pet. I would still come back even if I had to pay extra.

Good location. Nice clean and comfortable room. The owners I think, (A couple with their puppy, Max) we’re very helpful and friendly.

Love the fact it's pet friendly love she had us on the first floor near the door would definitely recommend to anyone

the staff was clean , proper , called me by my name very attentive . they even ask me if I would like a wake up call . they even let me use the ice to fill my cooler to keep what food I was bring home . no buddy else did that for me . and my little guy wasn't charge for staying like the RED ROOF INN , Walterbobo , SC. did .
