Quality Inn Tanglewood

The room was very comfortable. I’m very pleased to say it met my expectations and then some. I booked this room because of the name. Although it looks much like a motel, the operation is more like a low grade hotel. The room was very clean, the beds were firm and the pillows were soft. I had a very good night’s rest. My only problem was a draw kept sliding open and the sitting chair (recliner like) was a bit used. Otherwise, all was well. Breakfast was also good. There were options to choose from. To the staff and owner of this Quality Inn….we’ll done.

It was a little difficult to get to at night. Kept missing the turn to get to the property.

Lady at the desk even though not feeling well worked hard to take care of the reservation. Lady working in the breakfast area was very helpful. The room was quiet and well prepared

I am vegan and there was hardly anything for me to eat! I had a piece of fruit and a little dry cereal! I am a nurse and health educator, and I was very disappointed that there were no options for a healthy bread or pancakes, There was no soy milk or soy yogurt options. We live in a world where people are becoming more and more health conscious and I believe that our hotels need to support these decisions. I know I am only one voice, however I talk with other people and would like for your hotel chain to live up to your name....choice!

Great room, large bathroom and very clean. The bed was soft and did not have the scratchy bedspread usually found in motels.

Only downside was the parking lot was a little small, but not even close to negating the positives.

Clean rooms, good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good value for the stay. Right next to a steak house so we didn't have to drive for our evening meal, what a bonus.

In the shower they added a soap holder that sticks out so you bump it while showering. Not very easy to take a shower.

Brown bag breakfast was just fine, with nice breakfast sandwiches and an assortment of drinks, fruit and pastries. The room was super clean. The bed was comfy. Great value for the price.

The only thing we didn't like was the noise from the highway. I requested a quiet room, so would have preferred a room on the other side of the building. But, it wasn't so bad that we couldn't sleep. We would stay again in spite of the traffic.

the rooms were very clean and updated. The best thing about this place were the two women on reception. They were so friendly and so helpful.

Trying to find this hotel was very difficult.

We were made to feel right at home.

We had a really nice stay at this Quality Inn. Our room was extremely clean, the staff was super friendly and kind to my disabled husband and myself, and our beds were very comfortable. It will be our go to place whenever we have to come to the area again.

The room was clean and very comfortable you could tell it's been renovated and done well. Breakfast was an added benefit, nothing exceptional but good.

The shower faucet needs to be updated but that was a small issue.

The staff was very accommodating and the location is in great proximity to my favorite restaurant in Roanoke. The room was very clean and housekeeping was on point.

The receptionist was awesome, polite and out going

The heat in the room was erratic woke up during the night sweating then other times it was cool
