Sleep Inn Wytheville I-77 and I-81

Breakfast was amazing; something for everyone from cereal/pastries to hot offerings, such as eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, as well as waffles (2 sizes). I am not a coffee drinker but there were at least 6 flavored Coffee-mate choices, multiple teas, and hot cocoa. They had fresh fruit available, both on breakfast bar and in central lobby; the ladies working the breakfast bar were friendly and kept things well stocked and very clean. Cups/silverware were individually packaged so that you did not have to touch multiple items to get what you needed; same with apples, they were individually wrapped. Check in was easy, staff was friendly; great location right off off I-77, making it a great stop for an overnight stay. The outside of the hotel, the lobby, the breakfast area and our room were all very clean. Definitely am putting this hotel on our radar for future travel and when in area, will definitely stay here again.

Nothing; we were only there for an overnight stay but have no complaints.

It’s the little things that bring people back. Coffee, lemon water, fruit any time of day. The Quality of breakfast was top level. The owner nailed this bang on! I understand that he and his brother own 5 hotels, all run the same way. I’ll remember that during our next visit to the States. T. Belbeck

This really wasn’t such a bad thing but one of the staff members loves her job and her boss the owner so much that she talked a little excessively about how great he is and the quality of his breakfast program while we were eating breakfast throughout the meal. But she was 100% correct. I will be researching him and his other 5 hotels for future visits. She was very knowledgeable but a little talkative. It’s not such a bad thing. I actually didn’t mind. I love that the owner cares about people. Rare quality💕

The staff is amazing. The common area and the room were clean and the bed was really comfortable. You can tell they care about your comfort.

The room has carpet- most rooms now have wood-like floors. there were some stains on the carpet and there was a wet dog smell from the in room air conditioner so we didn’t want to turn down the temp because we didn’t want it running more. we did let the front desk staff know so hopefully that can get remedied. It was raining out and we were on the first floor so this probably isn’t something that would be true in all of the rooms

The staff here is great. They are kind and helpful! The breakfast is also exceptional! So many places now do not take pride in the included breakfast. However, this hotel's breakfast was great. They had good variety of food. It was well-stocked too! This is a simple hotel, but it is well-located, has a nice mountain view, and has friendly staff!

The room configuration was unusual (walk-in shower, pocket door to the bathroom, small, etc.). However, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our one-night stay.

Well probably some of this was my fault. I had asked for a kingsize bed. What I didn't know was these rooms were at the end of the hallway. My husband is disabled n walks with a walker n not that well. It was a difficult walk for him. I mentioned it when I went downstairs, plus they saw him come in, it would have been nice if they had made an attempt to offer us something else. I have to say they probably have the best luggage carts, easy to maneuver, there's nothing worse than wrestling with one after driving all day.

The lady at the front was extremely hospitable. We actually saw her walking the parking lot making sure only folks staying were there. Made us feel that she cared for her guests and their vehicles safety. We were on our way home from Myrtle Beach and decided to stop for the night. Picked your hotel because of the great reviews and a very reasonable price. Surprised and pleased with our room. Way beyond expatiation!! Much cleaner and better service than the hotel we stayed at in Myrtle Beach! Not to mention, less than half the cost. I highly recommend them!!

Absolutely nothing!!

This hotel really surprised me and exceeded my expectations. The room was the perfect size and very clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room. There was a very nice complimentary breakfast with many options. My interactions with all the staff was excellent. I will stay here again the next time I have to travel to this area for work.

I dont really have a lot to say that is negative. The window at my room was clouded and had moisture between the glass, but I wasn't checking out the view anyway. The only other problem was people slamming their doors. I don't know why people must slam their doors when they go in and out, but if a hotel could invent an anti slamming feature to dampen that noise, I would have the perfect night sleep.

The facility was clean. Beds were comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and informative. Breakfast attendants were friendly and efficient at keeping up with needs. Area was clean but limited for seating space.

Our room faced the parking lot and another hotel and the outside security lights were very bright. Drapery did block light when fully closed.

The room was impressively clean and the bed, most importantly, was very, very good. Firm, even, not lumpy or soft. Linens were clean and tightly made up the bed -- a welcome sight after lots of driving. The shower was very clean and perfect for a quick rinse in the morning before hitting the road, again. The front desk staff was very welcoming and kind and knew they were providing weary travelers with a much needed respite. Naturally kind and pleasant service!

Breakfast was the weakest part of our stay. We understand that without a kitchen, the offering has to be limited, of course. We try to eat healthfully and the prepackaged high-carb offering limited our choices. The precooked eggs we flavorless and not worth eating really. Breakfast meats were quite greasy. We took a reasonably good coffee with us and hit the road with a banana -- which was yummy!

Cara,who was on duty when I checked was was wonderful. It was a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was much better than I expected. Nice room ,comfortable,and clean. Loved the bananas!! What a great idea!

The outside of the elevators! The color paint /finish is horrible. Very unappealing, it made me think twice about giveing my positive ratings. It is something than can be fixed so
