There was a nice Keurig in the room. The continental breakfast was OK. The room was on the small size, but comfortable. Also typical of these older hotels. The bedding was exquisite, and the beds were comfortable. The furnishings in the bathroom were wonderful. I so appreciated the use of larger bottles of good quality hand soap, hand lotion, shampoo, body wash and conditioner to avoid using and throwing away all those tiny bottles and soaps. All the hotel staff we encountered were lovely. I love these older unique hotels!!!

We travel with a pet and the nightly fee was $50. I'm getting really tired of these high pet fees, on top of high room fees. We can't seem to get a way with less than $250 a night in a decent hotel!!!

A beautiful hotel off the highway (equals quiet). Beds are extremely comfortable. The bath area is large and the rooms are updated and clean. A roof top bar offers great views. This is a jewel with a great staff. Nearby dining options and shopping all within walking distance, and by the way... you are nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Well done and we hope to see the restaurant reopening in the near future. This was my second stay and will not be the last.

The hotel restaurant Graze on Main was not open and is in the stage of reopening. Not really a dislike.

Very cool historic hotel. Loved the wall posting explaining the history of the hotel. Decorated beautifully for Christmas. Bar was comfortable with nice selection. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Not bad, but selections were limited to more of what you expect from a mid-level chain hotel. Not the hotels fault given the rainy weather but was disappointed the rooftop lounge area was closed and unusable.

I loved the comfortable room. It was cozy and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The staff were exceptional and super helpful and welcoming. The rooftop has an amazing view and we enjoyed ordering a drink from the bar and sitting on the rooftop lounge.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Love the rooftop bar, such a cute, fun little spot! The beds are very comfortable as well!

Beautiful place in a great spot of town, the only thing in our room was the air was broken so they had a temp unit in there that didn't work great so it was pretty warm in there when trying to sleep. Other than that it was a great stay!

The rooms were updated and very clean. The restaurant on the premises was also very good with reasonable prices. Can’t beat the ice cold water with lemon and the soft chocolate chip cookies at the front desk every afternoon! Staff were very polite and accommodating.

The air conditioner in the room did not work very well.

we love the Bolling- Wilson. we’ve stayed there on our was to/from on our beach trip from Ohio. Can be just a little different each year but the hotel is very comfortable, quiet and clean. The people are the best.

The people but the quiet is the second choice. The view from the roof top bar is not to be missed.

The breakfast bar was satisfactory. Biscuits were hard and gravy could have been warmer but they also had sausage patties that were delicious and hash brown potatoes. They offered coffee, teas, orange juice and apple juice. Oh and the fried apples were amazing for breakfast also.

The breakfast was very good. The staff friendly. You have a 4 star restaurant. The rooms were quiet. The view from the perch was breathtaking. The music on the sidewalk was a nice touch.

The museum across the street was not open when it said it would be. You should work out a deal for the hotel to promote a visit to the museum for free.

I travel frequently by car between Atlanta, GA and New Brunswick, NJ and this hotel is my favorite stopover. The bed and pillows are the most comfortable I have experienced, the rooms are clean, the staff welcoming and professional. During Covid, they have been scrupulous about masks, cleanliness and sanitizer every where. The restaurant, Graze on Main, is excellent and provides consistently good food. The location in the heart of the historic district provides excellent walking and shopping.
