Hampton Inn Ellensburg

Friendly staff, pet friendly (even greeted our pets with a treat bag), very nice rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast

We stayed at the same time as a college baseball team. When we arrived at breakfast, the team had eaten everything. The staff was preparing more, however, we did have to wait awhile. I would just suggest, when a large party such as a team of hungry college athletes is staying, try and schedule more people or start preparing more food earlier rather than later. Also, maybe open a meeting room for additional seating. We stood for 20 minutes waiting for the food to come out and then had to eat while standing since there were so many people in the dining area. This is just a planning/logistics suggestion. The staff was amazing and the food was great once we got it!!

It was located near the freeway which was great. They did recommend a local place to eat and it was very good “The Porch”. The room was clean.

The price for a weekday could be better. Personally it could be abt $40 cheaper would be reasonable for a weekday stay. The breakfast that is served was disappointing. The eggs and bacon were so paper thin and watery you could see thru them. The rest of the breakfast options were good. The bed was not very comfortable at least for my husband and I. We both woke with stiff / sore backs.

10 plus stars - the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. After traveling all night, I was super exhausted and wanted nothing more than to be able to get into my room and staff allowed me to check in super early. The premises were clean and although there were renovations taking place, the work was progressing with no inconvenience to anyone. I would definitely stay here again during a future visit to Ellensburg.

Well-situated to break journey on a west-bound drive across the state, which I chose to do in order to avoid crossing the mountains after nightfall. It turned out to be a good plan, because a winter storm closed the highway that night from exit 106 (the location of the hotel) all the way to exit 34. Had I not stopped, it would have been a disastrous experience. All the staff members with whom I interacted were very friendly and efficient, and the room was more comfortable than expected. All the facilities were excellent, and the room was very clean.

My one, small complaint is that the potatoes at breakfast were not properly heated. In fact, they were ice cold, and inedible. Otherwise the breakfast was hearty and tasty. Great coffee, too.

Did not like the breakfast buffet, but lots of other people did and used it. I need a real breakfast and Starbucks coffee to get going so the IHOP next door was a blessing.

Over all it was just a very nice hotel. We were happy with the large room. The staff was very pleasant to deal with. The provided breakfast was great with a large number of items. We'd definitely stay here again.

The pool is available and the breakfast is great.

I booked my room through a 3rd party and prior to my stay I called to make sure a handicap room was available for my wife and was told one was not available. But additionally, even if there was one, it couldn’t be changed because it hadn’t been booked beforehand on the 3rd party web. Very disappointing to be treated in this fashion.

Staff was AMAZING! Super nice and quick to help when we had tv and toilet issues. Room could have used another time around with the vacuum but otherwise it was clean. Expensive charges per night but overall good experience.

Grounds look neglected from from last time we stayed. Faucet in sink in bathroom not attached. Inside of shower ...grab bar was disgusting with scum where it attached to wall and bottom of shower door was just as dirty!!! We've stayed with you all many times for rodeo...this is the first time I've felt your hotel was lacking.

It was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very nice and friendly.

I did not dislike anything. I thought it was a little pricey for Ellensburg. But it was college weekend move so it was busy there.
