Holiday Inn Express Ellensburg, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast prep employee was on top of everything. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Check in and check out were quick and flawless. We were extremely happy about our choice of staying at this hotel and will be sure to seek it out again when we travel through Ellensburg. By far one of our BEST hotel stays ever.

The pancake machine is pretty cool, and the rest of breakfast was good too.

I booked my stay using booking.com/Kayak and specifically searched for a hotel with a hot tub or spa. I chose this hotel because of the hot tub and the proximity to the freeway. I was disappointed to find out there was no hot tub. I am now a victim of false advertising, swindling, and fake news!

Super happy we stayed! I was in a dog friendly room since I brought my maltipoo. I expected to smell some sort of a dog odor when I walked in, but pleasantly surprised...it smelled so clean! No trace of stains or odors. I loved the JR Watkins bathroom supplies and not the tiny trial sizes either! They were mounted on the shower wall with a pump...body gel, shampoo and conditioner. So happy to find a place where I can take my pup. Only thing, and this is not really the hotels problem, there was not much of A place where I could walk in the grass for my dog to go to the bathroom without almost stepping in poo😑. Come on dog owners, do your share and keep it nice for other dog owners when they are walking in the grass. Pick up your dogs poo! I will stay here again...no doubt.

The room was fairly spacious and quiet, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The most outstanding thing about our stay was the wonderful woman serving breakfast (due to Covid, it wasn't self-serve). She was very nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we wanted. The breakfast was delicious.

Although we were given a room on the ground floor with easy access to the parking lot on the side of the building, there was no wheelchair access "dip" in the edge of the sidewalk and there was an additional step up to the access door. That made bringing in our suitcases and stuff for our dogs much harder because although they provided trolleys, we couldn't get them up to the door. Our choice was to go all the way around to the front entrance, or load the trolley at the car, unload it to get through the door and reload it again once we were inside to wheel the suitcases to the room. Seems like it would be an easy fix to just put in a ramp to the door or something.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in! I was definitely impressed and will spread the word! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. There were lots of families staying at the same time with lots of kiddos, yet it was totally quiet. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and you could pretty much sit anywhere in the room and still have an excellent view of the television screen. I was a little disappointed that the hot tub was down but the pool was open and the temperature was great as they are usually way too cold for me to swim in! I definitely recommend staying here!! Oh yeah, the breakfast choices are wonderful! They had staff there to get you what you ordered and the food was tasty! Much better than the prepared sack breakfasts I've had at other hotels!!

The staff were incredibly nice. The breakfast is one of the best I've had in a hotel - pancakes and warm cinnamon rolls! The room was comfortable and quite. Much more than I expected. One of the better hotels in Ellensburg.

Breakfast was quite good. Good variety and quality of the food. No TV blasting away - I love that! The fellow that managed the breakfast room was very good.

Skimpy toiletries in bath room. I am mobility impaired and couldn't find parking close to the entrance.

I was travelling and my van had issues. I was having it repaired the next day. The staff allowed us a late checkout at 1pm and then let us lounge in the common area until 4:30pm when the van was ready. Nice, courteous and helpful beyond what was expected, which is why I love to stay at Holiday Inns when I travel.

Breakfast was great. The woman that was reloading the buffet and helping guests was great. She is a huge asset to this hotel. Can't thank her enough for her customer service spirit!

location and staff

I was initially given a king room when I had booked 2 queens. they were able to correct it, but still a hassle. The room could have been cleaner. Especially the bathroom.
