Baymont by Wyndham Yakima Riverfront

Of course we loved the Riverview and balcony and the nicely landscaped grounds. It was enjoyable to walk our dog next to the river. In our room we appreciated that there was no bedspread and the bed was very comfortable. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast they had many choices to choose from. The front desk staff was very professional and friendly as well as the cleaning crew and even the people that stayed there were very friendly... We would definitely stay here again.

The location was great. The view of the river is nice. The shower was great with good water pressure.

The room looked partially updated. It had a musty smell when you walked into the room. You could tell they didn't clean certain things like the hair dryer still had makeup on it. From who stayed there before us. They only made the bed once while we were there. They would give us new towels, but they did not take the old ones.

From very nice Tony, on check-in , in his mask- -thank you, until checkout all was great. For dog lovers, it is pet friendly...goid news & bad. Very nicely remodeled bedroom portion. Synthetic, mop able foo rs so no o!d carpet. Bed was excellent. Walked In with record heat in Yakima & AC was running at 60 degrees, with drapes shut for a cool arrival, literally.. Appreciated that after unloading our car (there was a bell man's cart to use) in the horrible heat, we could relax & cool down. Very, very clean! Sliding glass door in back opened onto green grass & across was the nice river view. We aren't breakfast people ( I drank the Wolfgang Puck coffee from room coffee maker) but on check out I took a look at the breakfast. Hot patty & link sausage, eggs, small pancakes, toast, bagels, little muffins, yogurt, fruit, juice, more coffee, hard boiled eggs, make your own waffles etc! Much more, I thought than generally at this type property breakfast!

People next door let their dog bark late...don't know if they were out, but started again before 8 am next day...we survived. We don't have a dog, but can appreciate people with theirs need a place to stay. Liked the no carpet for hopeful good cleanup!

The bed was terrific - great pillows & mattress seemed to be firm enough, but easy to feel very comfortable. The refrigerator had problems -the freezer had been defrosted & the pan to catch the fripping water, was still full of water when I tried to load the Unit with my food. I noticed the tray full of water in time, to be able to remove it from the refirg & dump it...without getting soaked if I had accidentally hit it as I placed my food items on the shelves. out of the refrig and dumped the water out without incident. don't care for the "no rug" policy - floors are hard on my feet and cold! I do like this hotel, however, & will probably return.

We Always get the king suite, it huge!

The kitchen in the suite never has enough kitchen accessories. Example: there were only 2 small glasses to drink from. There were 4 LG plates, 2 bowl....do able, the worst was 1 fork, 2 butter knives.....that's it! That's ridiculous! My local thrift store sells silverware 4/$1 there's no excuse for that! The cooking utensils seriously lacked but the silverware was the worst! Otherwise it's a decent place and always clean. Outdated, but reasonable in price, staff is always friendly and always try and accommodate

The bed was very comfortable. The view was nice. We were able to check out at noon instead of 11 for no extra fee. That was nice.

Pool was outside which was a bummer. Front desk lady during the day was very nice. Unfortunately, we arrived around 3:30 (check in is 3:00) and our room was not yet cleaned. So they “cleaned it” in less than 10 minutes. Nice to not have to wait super long, but I was skeptical about how much cleaning was actually done. The floors were definitely still dirty. Night auditor was not friendly at all. I lost my room key when I went to dinner with my family and she barely spoke to us when we asked for a replacement. It was only 10:30pm and she looked half asleep and completely annoyed. We also had extremely loud neighbors who kept running around the halls and slamming doors at 2:00 in the morning (not the hotel’s fault).

Lovely hotel; up to date interiors. Our room had sliding doors out to a patio with two chairs overlooking the parkway path and the river right outside out doors! Rooms had plenty of room to move around desk/bed area and bathroom was good sized. Breakfast was standard fair for reg. diets there was plenty of food for all. Bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the heater/cooler because there was a nice breeze from the sliding doors being open. It was quiet at night! Local food delivery people brought food to our room. Exercise room was small but treadmill was quiet!

We would definitely stay here again. It is a lovely place! Pool is OUTSIDE.

I arrived a little early and had an accessible room on first floor which was made ready for me. Front desk employee, Diane, was superb in making me feel welcome, and later contacting me about some belongings I left. I would stay again based on her politeness and customer service.

There were guests extremely noisy evening and into wee hours of am which made sleeping difficult. I don’t know how or if hotel staff could have interceded without escalating a confrontation Extra cover in room. Bed was not as firm as I expected.

check out. we asked to have the bill split ( 2 people stayed not related ) the clerk said it could not be done although when we checked in they said they would do it . One morning clean did not leave a bath mat and they left the water in the ice bucket making the counter by the sink all wet , 1 elevator went down ( which was close to our room on the 4 th floor ) I think for 1 day but were happy to see they got it fixed

The room was huge and quiet in a good location with convenient food and shopping near by. Tony the night audit was a cool guy he was even walking the perimeter and parking lots keeping guests safe. We will definitely be returning to your property as we like the location.

The bed was too firm for our liking but everything else was good. Biscuits and gravy all week not just Saturday and Sunday 🙂
