Comfort Inn Lacey - Olympia

I was booked in a newer area of the hotel and even though I was beside an elevator, it was still nice and quiet when I had to go to bed. I enjoyed that the room was clean and spacious.

Breakfast on Memorial Day was only until 9 am. Breakfast times should be longer until 10:30 or 11 am. I did find the scrambled eggs and sausage to be extremely salty. Not sure if they added extra salt as it was super, super salty and I couldn't finish. Please don't salt the food and let people add salt if they need. I have stayed at other Comfort Inn in and the food had no salt at all and it was so much better. Mini fridge freezer area was small, could be bigger.

When I first arrived at the facility , the owner was just leaving, he saw that I had a truck and trailer he greeted me and pointed out a spot for me to park , he apparently knew I was staying for two days and said I could put the cones provided to save my spot for the next day when returned from the race track. I went inside and was greeted by an extremely pleasant employee, she checked me in and made sure I had everything I need, told me if I needed anything she is there for me. I entered my room and found a clean nice room. I woke up early to go to the track , got in the shower to my delight the shower had excellent water pressure, the employee in the morning made sure hot coffee was made , it’s available 24 hours a day 👍🏻 I got back the next day and the spot I had put cones out was waiting on me🎉🎉🎉 the property is completely fenced in so I felt my race car and truck was safe! I was hungry and ask a third employee if there was something in walking distance, she told me about three restaurants. The next morning I woke up and Joe had hot coffee waiting, super friendly, this was around 5am. I packed up by the time I was finished Joe had breakfast made , egg , sausage, biscuits and hit gravy. I absolutely love this property and can’t wait to visit again

Breakfast was prepared and well presented, great variety, clean dining room, great cook

Management needs to take a look at bathroom door problem the shower curtain rod is the type that is like a bow and precluded the door to open all the way, need to change the rod to a straight type and install a floor type stopper so door does not hit bathtub and cause it to break, this will make customers extremely happy....food for thought to make facility better.

location more than anything

Didn’t like that the night desk clerk was dishonest about her role in putting a call through to my room at 3:15am for someone looking for a person who was not in that room. Nobody knew I was there so that call was jarring. I believe it couldn’t been accidental by thinkin someone else was in the room, but a simple check of the actual person’s name in the computer could’ve avoided that.

Clean and well maintained. The check in process took longer than usual but overall was smooth. Breakfast was decent with some hot items and proteins. Decent but small fitness center but no water and a non working elliptical. Had noisy guests above us but front desk took care of it.

Not much. A little tricky to locate, some better signage at key turn ins?

Cleanliness of our room

We chose the third floor in hopes that we wouldn't hear pounding of any kind. But wouldn't you know it, the older couple next to us was doing so much pounding around it was ridiculous! I even slept with ear plugs and was still bothered. There is no consideration for others shenanigans staying in hotels.

Breakfast was a good, sack breakfast, (due to COVID restrictions). I was happily surprised to find a clean, exercise room with free weights & cardio equipment. I appreciate the hotel being conservative with their towel supply. Each of us received one towel of each size which was perfect. I’m sure had there been more, we would’ve use them unnecessarily. The front desk staff was very friendly.

The only negative comments are the quality of coffee served & our tub drained very slowly.

the woman at the desk was so kind an welcoming. the location is really nice. it is in the city but it doesn't feel like it. it is off the main road and is surrounded by trees. it felt secluded and peaceful.

a guest had to ask at the desk for certain breakfast items. i guess that is to avoid people stuffing their pockets with breakfast sandwiches, but it made me feel like i had to be monitored.

was good and hit the spot. needed a short class on the waffle machine but that was on me.
