Der Sportsmann Suites

This is the best place I could imagine. If you are going to Leavenworth to enjoy the snow, this apartment (the 2 bedroom) overlooks Front Street Park where there is a sledding hill. Also, it is within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops in downtown Leavenworth. The amenities were great. The dryer came in handy for wet and cold kid snowsuits. Full kitchen made feeding the kids easy and cheap. TV has a ridiculous amount of on demand choices. Fire place was the perfect ending to a cold day. We'll definitely come back!

The location can't be beat. Lots of space. Pretty bathroom. Comfortable beds. Beautiful mountain views.

We arrived at night and I couldn't find an address. Plus thearked parking had a different name than the booking. Der Matterhorn vs Der Sportsman. Certainly not a big deal but maybe the email instructions could have the Der Matterhorn info. I also wish the living room had a small love seat instead of the two seater Cafe table. It would have made relaxing and conversation more comfortable.

Location, Location!! The location was excellent. The suite was clean and up to date. The price was fair! I loved that the tub was jetted as well. Overall it is now my number one spot to stay in Leavenworth!

Sometime I didn't get a response right back from the apartment manager via text, and she does not answer the text on Booking.com at all. The stairs are allot, so if you have a disability I don't recommend staying here. Also the parking is only one spot so if you have more than one car they have to park far away and walk. Last, I wish the light worked in the middle section overlooking the store so you can actual sit outside and enjoy it at night.

Love this place, this is our second year staying here! Easy access to downtown Leavenworth, right next to shopping and food!

The rooftop patio was dirty, had boxes stacked and a ladder leaning on the wall, just wasn’t picturesque like last year. The sofa beds are very uncomfortable, wouldn’t even recommend for a child, having 12 guests we had 4 on the couches and they were not happy with the mattresses. Pillows also need an update, they’re very flat.

Spacious

I’d suggest spending $1000 and tile the shower with some mosaic, and undo the 80’s look and feel. Not a big deal but I’m being asked what the least feature was. Just tiling would make such a difference.

The location was great! We have 3 kids & having a washer/dryer and kitchen is so wonderful!!! It was very comfortable and beautiful! The decor was perfect!!! We also enjoyed the winery downstairs and got some bottles of wine!

Minor things...wish I knew which apartment I was booking, bc based on the photos of the room, it was supposed to be Suite 1 but we got Suite 2... wanted the view of the Main Street, so a bit disappointed on that. Still a beautiful view of the mountains. The parking is also super tight and there wasn’t a pass in the apartment or communication when asked...luckily, we weren’t towed.

We loved the location and the view from the balcony of this suite! It was right in the middle of Front Street, which is where all the shops and restaurants were located. We didn’t have to move our car from the designated parking spot once.

We found a dirty diaper in one of the kitchen cupboards and didn’t want to touch it so we left it. It didn’t ruin our trip as we just didn’t open that cupboard and stayed away from it for the rest of our stay.

There were some things wrong with our room so I had to notify our booking gal. Parking is difficult especially if you and the people you go with have two separate vehicles. Beds were very uncomfortable. Other than that the room was nice the town is BEAUTIFUL. The lines were too long for food and drinks so we only were able to eat out once that was a bummer. We waited almost an hour and a half to eat a sausage and kraut. Wish we could have experienced a carriage ride but the had to close down early. Over all it was a fun experience. It was my boyfriend and I’s first time ever being in Leavenworth... it was Leavenworth-it!

The long lines, the bed, the parking

very comfortable and clean.

tv channels didn’t include sports channels to watch Kraken hockey and mariners baseball. would have liked to watch and make dinner in the room.

Able to sit out on balcony overlooking main street and park. Close to most everything you want to do in the area. Clean. Good ac in hot weather. Soap and TP provided.

Difficult to load shows via internet on TVs. Need to close laundry room door as smell from fabric softener is not welcoming.
